If it was actual AFO vs Shigaraki it's a toss up who would win, but all Shigaraki would have to do is touch him, or somehow get AFO pinned to the ground/a surface and touch that. AFO probably has a better understanding of how the quirks work given that he has had more opportunity to build an understanding of that.

Does Eri’s quirk rewind or “return to a previous state”. I have a theory: When Overhaul is taunting Deku he says with her quirk you could eventually return a person to a monkey. That’s not an age thing but a previous state of evolution. With Mirio it might be that he was returned to a previous evolutionary path before humanity evolved quirks. Had anyone but Deku been with Eri during the fight their quirk would have been erased but since Deku was born without a quirk she couldn’t return him to a state before his quirk had evolved. Instead she returned him to a state before he was damaged.
I think it's just Deku killing himself faster than she can regenerate him to the point of non existance. That's why it was so hard for both of them at the end of the fight. one had to kill himself EVEN FASTER THAN HE EVER HAD TO BEFORE, and then one couldn't control there power. Pretty scary..

Orverhaul explained Eri’s Power when she uses it and the power that was taken from her are two different things. The rewinding Evolution was an awakening of her power that is why the drugs was actually hard to make. Normal eri can only rewind that person into a previous state albeit all the way back to non existence but if her power is pushed to The absolute limit and awaked to its full state. (A Phenomenon we have seen in the manga) she can rewind Evolution like the quirk bullets.
(I know that it's highly likely Dabi is Touya, and I believe he is) but could you imagine if this WHOLE time Horikoshi was just screwing around with us, and Touya is actually, legitimately, beyond resurrection attempts, dead and that Dabi isn't related or just not an immediate relative of Endeavor's.

I could definitely see maybe Tomura giving him Super-Regen once the League gets to Jaku and Dabi starts fighting Endeavor, maybe in response to Endeavor going all-out with an attack that would severely injure Dabi otherwise. Maybe Endeavor blasts his face off and it ends up healing his face. That sounds like it could be a good way to go about the reveal. And Tomura would definitely do it, I think; he's not so greedy that he would horde quirks when giving them to his allies would still be having those quirks work for him and keeping the others alive. I can also imagine a situation where Shigeraki gets a hold of Deku, only to find no quirks. Then either Endeavor or Bakugo come up and attack with One For All. This makes Deku give people powers in canon, like in Heroes Rising. I feel like Deku giving powers to people will be a thing in his future
Dabi is most probably about to get a powerup soon to fight Endeavor, Shoto, Hawks and Best Jeanist and I think it’s directly tied to his survival of the Sekoto Hills incident. Dabi’s survival is probably related to his Quirk’s hidden ability: Cremation-Rebirth We know that Dabi can use Prominence Burn, and generally agreed upon that using it will kill Dabi, it's like a suicide attack for him. That's why Horikoshi made Best Jeanist stop the attack, because it would've likely killed Dabi. What I'm saying is if Hori teased us that Dabi does know how to use the super move, then it stands to reason that since he is Shoto and Endeavor's endgame opponent that he will succeed in using Blue Prominence Burn one day. But like I said, Dabi's body is incapable of using it without dying, so by the plot's logical necessity, he must possess a body/form in the future that enables him to properly use and wield Blue Prominence Burn in combat without dying if he is to go all out when he fights his father and brother. So I think that's where the Phoenix blue flame rebirth quirk comes in. Dabi's flames are directly connected to how intense his emotions are, my theory is that the blue flames are only the first step of his quirk's evolution, that maybe unknown to him, he was able to partially awaken the phoenix rebirth quirk that allowed him to survive the fire. Like with Obito in the Manga series Naruto, Obito wasn't aware that he had Kamui, but because of a life-or-death situation he was able to partially awaken it instinctively use it to surivive. What if that's also the case for Touya? that he didn't know he had the phoenix flame power but because he was in a deadly situation that he partially activated it allowing him to survive (but like Obito it left Touya severely injured but still alive) Now this is what I think will happen, at some point in the future Dabi will either be so angry (angriest moment in his life) or be put into a life-or-death situation again that he will fully awaken the blue flames phoenix quirk. That will give him the powerup needed to fight both Endeavor and Shoto at the same time, allow him to properly use prominence burn and that would also heal his injuries, giving him renewed strength so he can fight as the Todoroki arc's endgame opponent. Dabi's quirk the only quirk we don't have an official name of? We just call it Cremation but that's not official, what if his quirk name being hidden has something to do with its actual power, that not only burns, but it also revives, Cremation-Rebirth. The Buddhist cremation ceremony (Dabi) it says that the purpose of Buddhist cremation is to liberate the soul from the body so that the person can be reborn/reincarnated (Samsara) into one of the six realms meaning the ultimate purpose of cremation is rebirth. And since Hori gives significant thought and meaning in naming his characters I think Dabi’s name and quirk ability is not only associated with cremation flames but also of flames of rebirth, that him surviving after the accident has to do something with his quirk. An incomplete form of revival which left him heavily scarred which he himself probably doesn’t realize, so I’m thinking what if in the future he successfully fully cremates himself only to realize his body reconstitutes itself afterwards. The idea that Dabi/Touya truly cremated himself yet he survived afterwards need not be mutually exclusive ideas, that if he is alive today therefore he did not truly cremate himself. Endeavor states thet fire at Sekoto Hills burned at 2000 Degrees Celsius. The body was never found, Touya's bones were reduced to ash, and the blaze's updraft scattered them to the wind, only a fragment of his lower jawbone was found. A crematorium oven only goes as high as 980 degrees Celsius to cremate a body, and yet those flames that burned Touya were more than twice as high as a cremation oven so Touya did truly cremate himself. The remains that Endeavor found are called dried bone fragments that are left after a cremation process which are grinded into powder form and placed on urns or cremation boxes. Concerning the river hypothesis. At temperatures of over 2000 degrees Celsius the very molecules water break down and decomposes, you only need 500 degrees Celsius to achieve Thermochemical water splitting, at over 2000 degrees Celsius that would be extreme temperatures. The river at Sekoto Hills would have immediately dried up and vanish so Touya could not have possibly escaped by jumping into the river. Temperatures reaching over 2000 degrees Celsius are extremely high temperatures, so much so that UHTC (Ultra High Temperature Ceramics) are used as Thermal Protection System (TPS) for Space Shuttles reentry which for extreme temperatures reaching over 2000 degrees Celsius. Concerning the Ujiko Frankenstein theory, I don’t think Touya escaped his lab because Dabi doesn’t seem to harbor hatred or repulsion towards Ujiko when he met him like how the Monster hated Dr. Frankenstein, I also don’t think Ujiko would willingly allow Touya to leave because this is a guy who turned his own grandson into a Nomu (Tsubasa) there’s no way he would willingly part with kid Touya if he actually rescued and patched him up, if he was working for Ujiko since he was a kid then he wouldn’t be a street thief and when Giran first introduced him to the LoV his clothes were worn-out and disheveled which implies he was truly on his own and had no support from someone with money like Ujiko/Garaki A likely scenario is what Endeavor said is true, that Touya's bones were reduced to ash, and the blaze's updraft scattered them to the wind, if Touya ashes taken by the wind far away from the accident site but he reformed somewhere else, that would explain why Endeavor wasn't able to find Touya after the accident site cleanup. Assuming that Sekoto Hills is in Musutafu city where the Todoroki household is located, if Touya's ashes were carried to another city like Kamino where he reformed afterwards, that would explain why Endeavor was not able to find him. In comic book terms, this power or ability is called Ash Resurrection, a Marvel Mutant called Forever Man possesses a similar ability. A central theme of Dabi's character has always been to prove to his father that he is not as weak as he perceived him to be so I think it's antithetic from a thematic perspective for him to receive a handed-down powerup from AFO or Ujiko like what happened to Shigaraki. It has to be his own power that allowed him to survive the incident and it has to be by his own power that he will face Endeavor and Shoto in the end of the series. And from a literary perspective it will serve as poetic irony for both Endeavor and Dabi. The former abused, isolated and neglected his family because of his frustration and concern for his eldest son that he thought couldn't be a hero. but it turns out in retrospect that he could've been one if only he trained and did not neglect him. And for the latter's case, as someone so hell-bent on self-destruction and suicide but could not truly die from his own flames.
What if he got the regen quirk and when he goes to fight his dad he uses the (new ) quirk and he goes back to himself without scars 👀 and endeavor sees this and just thinks oh shit

Compress: some sort of quirk to give him range, right now he has to touch the target, so something like meatball where he can telekinetically control his flesh, also some sort of storage quirk that would let him store away his marbles in a pocket dimension for example Dabi: Ofc regen like suggested here bus what If he got an ice quirk too? Him getting Getin’s would make him an Ben more powerful counter to Shoto Spinner: idk maybe something to play more into his lizard look, camouflage like a chameleon, a long tounge, this is just Tsu at this point tho

I think the one’s most likely to talk him out and it actually working are if it’s his other siblings (Fuyumi and/or Natsuo, Shoto not so much bc he was very young back then), and most importantly, his mom.
If Dabi has the regeneration quirk he would overpowered and could beat endevor in no time and that would be kinda sad but at the same time its awesome cause then after the expected 2 year time skip Todoroki would have to avenge his father and that would be an AWESOME fight and be one of the best fights in My Hero
I personally believe that regeneration wouldn't work for Dabi because I recall Endeavour saying in my hero aca S2 ep18 "Incinerated cells can't regenerate" when he killed the black nomu with BLUE flames. But other then that great video 😁

Dabi/Touya Todoroki pretty much has the potential to be just as, if not more dangerous than shigaraki if given the right quirks besides regeneration, like strength and durability quirks, and maybe getting similar body modifications that shigaraki had that made him powerful without quirks. In my own opinion if that doesn't happen, I'm just gonna call him wasted potential for a cool and mysterious character to be hyped up to probably be another main antagonist in the future, well it's just head cannon, but I'm sure horikoshi could think of something to make a cool storyline like a todoroki arc, I just hope he doesn't go down without making an impact almost as big as shigaraki.

With shiggy have AfO and looking back @ how much shiggy actually cares for his own group there's no question that everyone is getting a upgrade in the future. Spinner and toga I can see having a relationship bc both can be really good at stealth missions. With toga ability to be anyone she wants, and spinner gaining new abilities lets say from the tail guy from class 1A (I don't believe he's gonna make it) and froggy (I forgot her name) spinner can be a real handful if he believe in stain ideology like he say he does

His quirk is evolved to where he can permeate things that he passes through for a period of time or something like that. He defeats the Nomu and maybe he joins the fight or he stays behind in case Shigi sends more. Something like that

(A Phenomenon we have seen in the manga) she can rewind Evolution like the quirk bullets.

I could definitely see maybe Tomura giving him Super-Regen once the League gets to Jaku and Dabi starts fighting Endeavor, maybe in response to Endeavor going all-out with an attack that would severely injure Dabi otherwise. Maybe Endeavor blasts his face off and it ends up healing his face. That sounds like it could be a good way to go about the reveal.
And Tomura would definitely do it, I think; he's not so greedy that he would horde quirks when giving them to his allies would still be having those quirks work for him and keeping the others alive. "[His] friends are irreplaceable" after all.

Dabi has stronger fire, but it feels like he needs a big jump to actually get at Shoto's level. And if that jump is so big it actually puts him past Shoto _for now,_ I'd be fine with it. Like I said, 2 years of training left still.

I can also imagine a situation where Shigeraki gets a hold of Deku, only to find no quirks. Then either Endeavor or Bakugo come up and attack with One For All. This makes Deku give people powers in canon, like in Heroes Rising. I feel like Deku giving powers to people will be a thing in his future

Dabi is most probably about to get a powerup soon to fight Endeavor, Shoto, Hawks and Best Jeanist and I think it’s directly tied to his survival of the Sekoto Hills incident.
Dabi’s survival is probably related to his Quirk’s hidden ability: Cremation-Rebirth
We know that Dabi can use Prominence Burn, and generally agreed upon that using it will kill Dabi, it's like a suicide attack for him. That's why Horikoshi made Best Jeanist stop the attack, because it would've likely killed Dabi.
What I'm saying is if Hori teased us that Dabi does know how to use the super move, then it stands to reason that since he is Shoto and Endeavor's endgame opponent that he will succeed in using Blue Prominence Burn one day.
But like I said, Dabi's body is incapable of using it without dying, so by the plot's logical necessity, he must possess a body/form in the future that enables him to properly use and wield Blue Prominence Burn in combat without dying if he is to go all out when he fights his father and brother. So I think that's where the Phoenix blue flame rebirth quirk comes in.
Dabi's flames are directly connected to how intense his emotions are, my theory is that the blue flames are only the first step of his quirk's evolution, that maybe unknown to him, he was able to partially awaken the phoenix rebirth quirk that allowed him to survive the fire.
Like with Obito in the Manga series Naruto, Obito wasn't aware that he had Kamui, but because of a life-or-death situation he was able to partially awaken it instinctively use it to surivive. What if that's also the case for Touya? that he didn't know he had the phoenix flame power but because he was in a deadly situation that he partially activated it allowing him to survive (but like Obito it left Touya severely injured but still alive)
Now this is what I think will happen, at some point in the future Dabi will either be so angry (angriest moment in his life) or be put into a life-or-death situation again that he will fully awaken the blue flames phoenix quirk.
That will give him the powerup needed to fight both Endeavor and Shoto at the same time, allow him to properly use prominence burn and that would also heal his injuries, giving him renewed strength so he can fight as the Todoroki arc's endgame opponent.
Dabi's quirk the only quirk we don't have an official name of? We just call it Cremation but that's not official, what if his quirk name being hidden has something to do with its actual power, that not only burns, but it also revives, Cremation-Rebirth.
The Buddhist cremation ceremony (Dabi) it says that the purpose of Buddhist cremation is to liberate the soul from the body so that the person can be reborn/reincarnated (Samsara) into one of the six realms meaning the ultimate purpose of cremation is rebirth.
And since Hori gives significant thought and meaning in naming his characters I think Dabi’s name and quirk ability is not only associated with cremation flames but also of flames of rebirth, that him surviving after the accident has to do something with his quirk. An incomplete form of revival which left him heavily scarred which he himself probably doesn’t realize, so I’m thinking what if in the future he successfully fully cremates himself only to realize his body reconstitutes itself afterwards.
The idea that Dabi/Touya truly cremated himself yet he survived afterwards need not be mutually exclusive ideas, that if he is alive today therefore he did not truly cremate himself.
Endeavor states thet fire at Sekoto Hills burned at 2000 Degrees Celsius. The body was never found, Touya's bones were reduced to ash, and the blaze's updraft scattered them to the wind, only a fragment of his lower jawbone was found.
A crematorium oven only goes as high as 980 degrees Celsius to cremate a body, and yet those flames that burned Touya were more than twice as high as a cremation oven so Touya did truly cremate himself. The remains that Endeavor found are called dried bone fragments that are left after a cremation process which are grinded into powder form and placed on urns or cremation boxes.
Concerning the river hypothesis. At temperatures of over 2000 degrees Celsius the very molecules water break down and decomposes, you only need 500 degrees Celsius to achieve Thermochemical water splitting, at over 2000 degrees Celsius that would be extreme temperatures. The river at Sekoto Hills would have immediately dried up and vanish so Touya could not have possibly escaped by jumping into the river.
Temperatures reaching over 2000 degrees Celsius are extremely high temperatures, so much so that UHTC (Ultra High Temperature Ceramics) are used as Thermal Protection System (TPS) for Space Shuttles reentry which for extreme temperatures reaching over 2000 degrees Celsius.
Concerning the Ujiko Frankenstein theory, I don’t think Touya escaped his lab because Dabi doesn’t seem to harbor hatred or repulsion towards Ujiko when he met him like how the Monster hated Dr. Frankenstein, I also don’t think Ujiko would willingly allow Touya to leave because this is a guy who turned his own grandson into a Nomu (Tsubasa) there’s no way he would willingly part with kid Touya if he actually rescued and patched him up, if he was working for Ujiko since he was a kid then he wouldn’t be a street thief and when Giran first introduced him to the LoV his clothes were worn-out and disheveled which implies he was truly on his own and had no support from someone with money like Ujiko/Garaki
A likely scenario is what Endeavor said is true, that Touya's bones were reduced to ash, and the blaze's updraft scattered them to the wind, if Touya ashes taken by the wind far away from the accident site but he reformed somewhere else, that would explain why Endeavor wasn't able to find Touya after the accident site cleanup. Assuming that Sekoto Hills is in Musutafu city where the Todoroki household is located, if Touya's ashes were carried to another city like Kamino where he reformed afterwards, that would explain why Endeavor was not able to find him.
In comic book terms, this power or ability is called Ash Resurrection, a Marvel Mutant called Forever Man possesses a similar ability.
A central theme of Dabi's character has always been to prove to his father that he is not as weak as he perceived him to be so I think it's antithetic from a thematic perspective for him to receive a handed-down powerup from AFO or Ujiko like what happened to Shigaraki. It has to be his own power that allowed him to survive the incident and it has to be by his own power that he will face Endeavor and Shoto in the end of the series.
And from a literary perspective it will serve as poetic irony for both Endeavor and Dabi. The former abused, isolated and neglected his family because of his frustration and concern for his eldest son that he thought couldn't be a hero. but it turns out in retrospect that he could've been one if only he trained and did not neglect him. And for the latter's case, as someone so hell-bent on self-destruction and suicide but could not truly die from his own flames.
What if he got the regen quirk and when he goes to fight his dad he uses the (new ) quirk and he goes back to himself without scars 👀 and endeavor sees this and just thinks oh shit
So now Shiggy can give the league more quirks here’s some ideas
Toga: more blood related quirks, if he had stains too it’d be pretty powerful, or a blood control quirk, like bloodbending in ATLA, that would mean she could extract blood from people from a distance.
Compress: some sort of quirk to give him range, right now he has to touch the target, so something like meatball where he can telekinetically control his flesh, also some sort of storage quirk that would let him store away his marbles in a pocket dimension for example
Dabi: Ofc regen like suggested here bus what If he got an ice quirk too? Him getting Getin’s would make him an Ben more powerful counter to Shoto
Spinner: idk maybe something to play more into his lizard look, camouflage like a chameleon, a long tounge, this is just Tsu at this point tho

Spinner should have those quirks, including poisoning skin/claws/mouth, if he had only one more quirk he'd still be weak.

If Dabi loses his scars he might cause Endeavor to try to talk him out of Dabi’s role of being a villain.
I think the one’s most likely to talk him out and it actually working are if it’s his other siblings (Fuyumi and/or Natsuo, Shoto not so much bc he was very young back then), and most importantly, his mom.

Dabi/Touya Todoroki pretty much has the potential to be just as, if not more dangerous than shigaraki if given the right quirks besides regeneration, like strength and durability quirks, and maybe getting similar body modifications that shigaraki had that made him powerful without quirks.
In my own opinion if that doesn't happen, I'm just gonna call him wasted potential for a cool and mysterious character to be hyped up to probably be another main antagonist in the future, well it's just head cannon, but I'm sure horikoshi could think of something to make a cool storyline like a todoroki arc, I just hope he doesn't go down without making an impact almost as big as shigaraki.

With shiggy have AfO and looking back @ how much shiggy actually cares for his own group there's no question that everyone is getting a upgrade in the future. Spinner and toga I can see having a relationship bc both can be really good at stealth missions. With toga ability to be anyone she wants, and spinner gaining new abilities lets say from the tail guy from class 1A (I don't believe he's gonna make it) and froggy (I forgot her name) spinner can be a real handful if he believe in stain ideology like he say he does

His quirk is evolved to where he can permeate things that he passes through for a period of time or something like that. He defeats the Nomu and maybe he joins the fight or he stays behind in case Shigi sends more. Something like that
