    In October of 2019, I was about to let a big milestone pass without getting a guitar to commemorate the occasion. I had been thinking about getting a Vintage or Modern Gibson but life sidetracked my thoughts. It took a nudge from my best friend a mere 2 weeks before my birthday to start thinking about it again. I ended up getting a beautiful Suhr Classic T Deluxe Limited Edition. And I couldn't be happier. Watch to find out why this Suhr Classic T Deluxe Limited Edition Guitar changed how I choose guitars! And I share tips to keep in mind when shopping for a new guitar.

      Thank you so much for your thoughts! Means a lot! I poured my heart into this video but for some reason it's not getting discovered falling so far behind my typical amount of views. But I thank you for thoughts and time. It truly is a great guitar and it will surface in future videos for sure. Cheers!

    Suhr likes to use Lollar...I have 7 Teles now...(just got addicted last year at 61 years old, playing since 9) ...and am willing to sell my entire 20+ lefty arsenal of mid-high end humbucking guitars (ok, keep the LP and 335) now that the Tele is my true love (actually played one in college in the 80's out of necessity). Anyway, my best sounding Tele (even over USA and Japanese) is the Squier CV50 Purple Pete with Lollar Special T's...amazing tone!! I'd like to get a lefty Suhr Tele some day...

    It is so clearly styled after a Fender Telecaster. Tele's are known for being so bright, crisp and clear... Have you played a Tele before? How would you compare the sound of this Suhr with that of a classic Tele?

    • @LonelyRocker
      @LonelyRocker  4 роки тому +1

      Hey Jean Marc!! I've dabbled with Teles before but never owned one. As I've been mainly a Gibson guy I had toyed with the idea of getting a Tele as it would offer a different tone for recording. I did play custom shop Teles that day. There are differences for many factors but the Suhr was the best guitar in the room. I think it played better than Teles twice it's price. And the neck is the most incredible thing I've ever felt. Satin finish and so smooth and comfortable. Roasted Maple...I'm a fan now!!

    • @JMarcR01
      @JMarcR01 4 роки тому +1

      @@LonelyRocker Cool! I have played a Tele or two with the standard bright maple neck. I tend to prefer warmer sounding necks, like a rosewood neck. I appreciate your insights! Rock on!

      @@JMarcR01 My pleasure! And great to hear from you. If you ever get a chance to try a Suhr I'd be curious about your thoughts. Everything I said in the video was true. I didn't go there that day to buy a Suhr and now I own one. And I'm thinking about another one already. Amazing guitars!!

      I 100% agree!! That's the only thing I was disappointed about. Granted, it's a very nice gig bag and the guitar never leaves the studio but I 100% agree. At that price, a hardshell case should have been included.
