I bought a trans white class T a few weeks ago....my 1st Suhr....I loved it so much I bought a flame maple top in trans black😂😂😂 I looooove telecasters but these Suhr guitars are on a whole new level! I played my 1st gig with it last weekend and it's definitely an amazing sounding guitar! Great video btw....I really enjoyed the info about the paulowina tree, very cool

I'm surprised the T has a thicker neck than your S. I have both a Paulownia T (same color) and S and the T is definitely thinner.
And thanks for the history/info of the Paulownia tree, very cool :)

Hey thanks! Your comment prompted me to look for the specs of both guitars and actually they are both "Even C" necks, but the T is an "Even C Slim, .800"-.880"" and the Classic Pro is "Even C Medium, .840 -.920" This would lead me to believe that my S actually has a thicker neck... I tried picking up my guitars and really trying to determine if my perception of the thickness is different and honestly I still feel like the T is thicker despite finding this information online. I noticed that the S has a 9"-12" fingerboard radius and the T has a 10"-14" fingerboard radius, so maybe this is the spec difference I am perceiving. I generally ignore technical specifications and go by pure intuition and feel and that was certainly a mistake for this section of the video, thanks for pointing it out! Glad you enjoyed the tree facts :)

The specs you're looking at on their site are the base on their production models, but any Suhr can have (almost) any of their neck profiles if custom ordered through a dealer. For example, I have a Classic T Antique with a 1 piece baked maple neck in the Even C Medium and another I ordered with Even C Extra Slim because you can't order their Modern Elliptical profile on the T. So your feeling it's thicker may be correct. @@shelbyguitarmusic

Tryina watch some guitartube and I got a history lesson lmao. But I find the "wrangling the note out" thing to be the greatest part about a tele- not that any suhr is hard to play, but that a tele is just inconvenient enough to make playing more deliberate than something more intentionally designed to be comfortable, and therein lies the charm. Both sick guitars congrats, my modern satin flame is my #1, its never been safer for me to go to a guitar store, since for years I've been more happy to come home and play my own.

lmao got ya with the surprise tree facts. Totally agree with you on your tele assessment. Thanks for the nice comment! I'd love to own a modern someday.

Hey there! I've only tried out a Suhr Modern at a local shop, though I did love the experience. Very sleek, easy to play, high Suhr build quality of course. I want to own one eventually, just don't feel like I need more guitars right now. Good luck!

Thanks! Just something I came up with on the spot to run through the pickups and some overdrive stages. I may have subconsciously based it on something else but I'm not sure!

I think Teles sound better than Strats....at 62 (playing off/on since 9)....I rediscovered the Tele last year and have acquired or reacquired 7 of them. My dream is the Suhr you have...need to sell a few humbucking beauties that I seldom play thanks to my Tele fetish.

All hail the Tele! I have an interesting fake King Bee telecaster that I didn't know was fake when I bought it. Long story...but apparently the owner of King Bee had a disgruntled apprentice who stole his logo and started selling knock-offs. I might make a video on it one of these days...

@@shelbyguitarmusic That would very interesting!! Oh, since my last post...I bought a used LSL TBoneOne...thinking it was my 'last guitar' (most expensive to date and a Custom Shop (CS) would not be realistic anytime soon. The LSL was GREAT. But in my heart, felt there was something even better out there...I knew what "it" was. Well..."anytime soon' was last week after I told myself I"m gonna keep buying Tele's so long as the 'holy grail' exists. So, I decided to 'go big or go home.' Found a used one...mint, lefty. Love my CS...amazing, amazing everything. Did buy and install some used Suhr Custom T pups into a Harley Benton TE52. Very nice indeed.
