For the rest of the apps, I had to set up my phone from scratch. Only settings, contacts, photos & important data was retrieved. However, apps were not there. Maybe I did something wrong but I didn’t mind downloading the apps again.
Thank you so much it really helped out!
Sorry but I think you skipped a part. Where they ask if u want to continue or not with the program bêta and if you say no you will not be able to restore your data. I've tried myself so the solution doesn't work. But thank you for ur tuto.
This video was very helpfull, I just downgraded My device from IOS 18.1 beta back to IOS 17.6 and its day and night difference :)
Thanks for sharing. Blessings
I was having a few minor bugs here and there. But the one that tipped me over the edge was my flashlight haptic button thingy on Lock Screen disappearing and no matter how many times I readded it, it kept disappearing. And the other was all my control center controls also vanished today. I’m cooked I don’t have a MacBook. Never getting a beta again after this. I am very hard-headed but when I learn my lesson, I learn it well.
I don’t have an older back up on my Mac, pretty sure if I update from factory reset it will use 18?
I did EXACTLY what the video told me to do and I still ended up with iOS 18. I pressed restore iPhone and all, waited an hour, went through the same "hello", select language, backup from icloud, etc.. but nothing changed. still iOS 18
Now that iOS 18 is the default operating system, you have to download the iOS 17.7 IPSW file and install it
@@zollotech Hello, thanks for the reply! I downloaded the iOS 17.7 IPSW file, installed it and restored iPhone (pressed option to select the file). But at the end of the "hello," select language, backup from cloud etc.. section, it forced me to upgrade back to iOS 18. Like it wouldn't let me move on unless I upgraded it. Do you know why this might happen..?
I did this about a month ago. I actually had to send my watch into apple to be downgraded to connect again. my Mac wasn't too bad to downgrade, however I decided to trade in and upgrade to an M3 MacBook Pro instead
You lost me when you did recovery mode and used a Mac... My laptop never found my iphone on the directory. :(
Yeah you gotta use a Mac not a pc
So I have a question. I have done this and when I try to restore to icloud it is asking me to update back to IOS 18 to complete the icloud backup. Any ides to get around this?
i had the same issue.
it blocks all my kid app games
Thanks for your help. It worked!
Is this process Similar for Windows PCs?
Idk
I wanna know the same
Yes, it is the same process, I am doing it right now.
My iPad 8 dies after update to ios18, full battery to 5% just watching UA-cam in couple hours… thanx for video ❤
Is this only works with iOS 18 Beta or public as well?
should we restore while keeping the phone on recovery mode?
iOS 18 bricked by iPhone 14 Pro, don't use it. Immediately after updating to the iOS 18 beta my phone started getting super hot and auto-restarting every 10-20 minutes. And of course I can't even downgrade it because it force-restarts so often that it interrupts the process, so it's effectively bricked.
What is the app in the Mac? IM ON WINDOW AND I DO NOT KNOW WHAT APP TO INSTALL. please help
will the esim be deleted!
If i backup using iTunes
Then it will backup my whatsapp chats data along with it??
Please reply
Would've kept using it, but, while using the Notes app with pencil on my iPad Pro 2020, it heats up unusually to the point it's hotter than Warzone running at high graphics. Apple still hasn't bothered to fix this issue.
Do we have exit any authenticator apps before the restore?
hey so if i downgrade my iphone from ios 18 to ios 17 will i be able to change it back to ios 18?
Hello
I have a question, instead of making the backup on Icloud because I don't have memory, can I do it on my PC? with itunes?
Would the rest of the process be the same?
Yes, u can select computer local back up
@@prashanth_dk It didn't work, it requires the iPhone to have iOS 18 to have access to the backup
