I Really Agree with you. When I first heard this song in 1990, I instantly liked it. I thought it was sang by foreign band. I liked it more when I learned that Filipinos sang this song.

After the band Hayp broke up, the guitarist Noel Mendez joined Second Wind band. They performed for our school's foundation day concert along with some tv personalities. It was the early 90's. I was the guitarist in a cover band from the same school and we opened up the show for them. We played a couple of rock ballads and that was an awesome show. I was in the backstage chilling with Noel Mendez and his band. I was playing around with his guitar and chatted with him before the show started. Awesome night.

My friend and I were just talking about Noel Mendez being the masked guitarist in one of the Dawn's post-Teddy Diaz Storm shows and I suddenly remembered Hayp. I searched UA-cam for this song and chanced upon this video. I don't even remember seeing this back in the early '90s. Nice upload!

It's awesome to see this video in full quality. Not to be a pain, but I have to ask. Is there really any reason to stick a QR code in the video, rare as it is? That irks me a little bit. I know from experience after seeing the same happen to Wolfgang's "Weightless" and "Atomica," as well as Razorback's "Tie Dye Sky" and "Voodoo, Who Do?". Given the scarcity of these videos, it doesn't make sense to modify them in any way, either by sticking logos or channel IDs on them.
For some perspective, imagine that 99% stock of master reels for the original Star Wars trilogy suddenly vanished, and the only movies we had were fourth generation with "special anniversary" touch ups. All I'm saying is that it would be so much better to simply post the video as is. Not only for posterity, but to have it preserved in its original form. Just a thought.
Hi. Well, actually, this video was posted by another user, apparently ripped from old betamax format. Sound quality was really poor. I used free software to sync the old scratchy video with my CD rip of the song. Sorry about the QR code. Maybe I'll post a cleaner vid some day.
