@@terrysandiego Unfortunately they may learn the hard way down the road. I own a cleaning company you don't mess with that stuff. I learned the hard way.
Fun series - at least for those of us watching! Make sure you seal the outside (especially roof and windows) first - or at least asap - or you're going to get your new work wet.
Excited to see the remodel take place. It's going to be so nice when all the hard work is done and it will have your personal touch.❤ ..... just be safe throughout the process. Wear respirators with the right filters for mold. We all want you safe!
I'm very excited about this Reno! And your adventures trips/afterwards. It's fun watching the both of you transform your new rig, once you two are finished with all of the Renos it's going to look even better than before. 🙂😊
I will say, the “prep” work continues on for a while longer, but we end up getting to do some interesting projects along the way. I’m still looking forward to the “beautification” part of things over here 😆 it’s all a part of the adventure though!
Maverick & Leland are having a blast ☺️ sorry to hear of all the window léaks, mold and termites, but it’s a good idea to replace the top, due that will be your safe place 💤💤 You’re doing really good. Stay safe 😍😍
If you enjoy the process of renovating this a good project, but if you just wanted to go explore, it would have probably been better to buy something a little newer. It makes for great content though, which is probably half of the goal as well. Either way, enjoy watching your struggles while I relax and sip some coffee.
It looks like you have a lot of work ahead of you, but you guys got it, and once you are done, it will be amazing. It's also something that you can be very proud of doing.
We have a 97 class C motorhome and we had 4 inches of water under the wood on the bed of the bunk. We started at the edge with mold too but decided to open up the bed section. Sure glad we did!!!
The class C Reno is coming along and gives you a clean space to start to rebuild. Get the dirty work out of the way then the fun part starts. Good luck guys!! 👍👍❤️❤️🇨🇦
C & V you have to think that those metal windows condensate even if they are sealed they will gather condensation and collect at the base of the window, wall and floor is most likely where this rot comes from. Hot on the inside cold on the outside= condensation. Surprised to see a lack of structure so add as much as you can! Been enjoying watching ya’ll working on your struggle bus!
I met a man who was chopping wood and it had a piece of mold in it and he breathed it and the whole rest of his life he had breathing problems and then he died… I definitely don’t take it lightly anymore! As I’m growing up my youthful ignorance of I’ll always be fine is fading 😂😂

I hope you are planning on pulling all of the windows completely out, scraping off the back of the exterior flanges and re-sealing them. Window seals are on the flange to the exterior wall. Not the little bead of silicone around the outside edge. That is just a water deflector.
Hey Craig you guy's definetley need to to check your butyl tape and dicor around exterior window's make sure your not setting up for another round down the road.Keep up the good work
Hey Victoria and Craig, We love watching your new series especially as we start on the build on our Isuzu NPR Truck Camper. One random thought... Why don 't you use the generator to charge the batteries in your Brinkley then power the tools from that?
My excitement level is at asking you guys if you could do some all nighters I so badly wanna see like one room finished to see how cool it’s gonna look be safe and you know what be on the wild side lol
I have the same generator and I stored mine for a couple months and the carb went bad… rebuilt it twice and it’s still not perfect.. have a brand new one in the box waiting for me to decide to do it again… I’m a little bitter 😂
No slides! We forgot to mention it but that was one of our requirements to buy it. After our first RV, we didn’t want any broken slides on an old RV lol!
@@wildrvlife I am watching intently, because my floors will need the same work, because the slide seals failed and there were two rivers running down the floor. The areas with soft wood are where the slides are. The seals are fixed but not the flooring.
We explained in our first video, but we are keeping the Brinkley! We just have a trip that we don’t want to take it on and so we decided to buy a cheap class C to renovate and take instead. It’ll be in storage until we come back to it several months later
As many have commented, wear masks and gloves. Mold is not to be trifled with. You're in a closed space and you're sucking in all of those mold spores. It can be seriously detrimental to your health. Take care. I do love your channel and your shenanigans.
Yes! I found this out last video lol, but these were all filmed within a few days in a row and before even our first renovation video came out 😅 there’s probably a couple more coming 😆
We had it for over a year with us after we installed our solar and we never even pulled it out once. It just became too much space and weight to justify. We did need one once in Alaska, but we just went to a campground with hookups, which we don’t mind doing either 😄
Yes, they should probably be wearing masks, but then everyone would be complaining that they couldn't hear or understand what they were saying with the masks. Also, if you look, everything is open, so it's well vented.
We should be wearing masks, but we weren’t and all these videos were filmed within the same week, before our renovation series even went live and before we ever got the first comment of someone saying we should be wearing masks. So, we aren’t ignoring you guys, just can’t go back in time 😅 By the time we started getting all the comments, we were already past most of the demo and “mold” type stuff. So, you probably won’t see us wearing masks, and apologies for disappointing everyone 🙂
I wish I’d known about this project before you pulled the trigger on it…been there, done that! Final cost of your renovation will be about the equivalent of buying a late model with no leaks or mold. Just saying from experience…besides the $, your time is a resource you use up and there’s no replacement for it. I’ll wish you well, and enjoy the adventure of doing this for your own satisfaction, no one else’s!
Well our satisfaction and all the people who come along with us on this journey! We like projects, so we’re having fun and also specifically wanted to share the process of us renovating an RV as a series on our channel. So, it was purposeful buying one that needed work! Also, so we don’t feel so bad tearing everything out and making it look how we want to.
You said you were going to get different seats, why not take the old ones out so you have more room to work? You’re probably already past this point now anyway as I have no idea how far behind your videos run…..
Just an idea, go to a surplus cabinet dealer and purchase new cabinets, if you get just the uppers that you would normally put above the lower cabinets in a regular house they should be close to the correct depth, that would help with some time of building cabinets
You are both in OVER YUR HEAD ,,, chassis, engine, ball joints ,shocks ect , YOU have NOT even got into, YET , CHOICES and you must have LOTS OF TIME ,MONEY , patience , CRAZY
Craig did a tune up on the engine when we first bought it, so we’ve gotten into it some already and it runs pretty good. It’s a big project for sure, but we don’t feel in over our heads. Just requires lots of patience and will power to keep powering through any issues (which we have a lot of experience with lol) 😄
I hope you are masking with all the mold in the walls, especially while sanding! 😮
They don't seem to be using masks at all.... Not good.

Pull the zinc out of that water heater, look inside, you might want to replace it while you have everything out
One place you need to check for leaks is around the clearance and tail lights. You might want to replace them. New lights come with gaskets
