I don't know if the virtual table has it, but on the actual table, in Video Mode, you can hit the start button as a kind of smart bomb. You only get one though, so it's good if a falcon is about to fly off or you miss the Extra Ball. Also, getting all of the items on the Catapult (not just the highest scoring one) unlocks Barnyard Multiball, which is very high-scoring.
