Judge made it that high specifically so that she'd be forced to see the judge and get her ridiculous traffic matter resolved.
She doesn't know why they're arresting her, yet she was hiding in the woods.

Unless they are from a state you don’t live in and never plan to visit again. I think North Dakota still has a traffic warrant for a speeding ticket for my dad from 1987.
@@Saltine_American Still have to show up for court regardless. Otherwise, a bench warrant is issued which can lead to unpleasant surprises like what was shown in this video... Don't even think about attempting to fly with warrants. They will run one's I.D through the NCIC (National Crime Information Center) database at the security checkpoint. They'll arrest you for even a minor unpaid traffic ticket showing up in the NCIC so beware...

I have been in law enforcement for over 30 years and if I had a dollar for every time a suspect said I was going to be fired or sued I could retire a rich man but I have never been disciplined or even written up. I have a Masters degree in Criminal Justice and I know and understand the law very well. No officer will ever be fired for serving a warrant. If a warrant has been issued by a judge the officer is only doing their job. Here is a hint, pay for traffic ticket or show up for court and you won't get a warrant. She caused the problem herself.

Husband was arrested for Obstruction via interfering with his wife's arrest & Assault/Battery on an LEO. He swung on one of the officers during the arrest of his wife - hence why he was arrested.

Lawyers say there are there to protect innocent people out, but really, they are there for the obviously guilty. Ignoring a court date is just stupid. I hate to tell her the public defender is not your lawyer. They don't sue anyone for you. They only defend you after they are assigned to you.

I work as a clerk at "traffic court" and you can easily get on a payment plan or request community service which will remove the warrants. From what I've seen with the Marshalls I work with they don't want you to go to jail, just pay your fines.
