That was an awesome day of fun. Thanks for taking us along. I hope to get to go to Arizona to hunt for gold in the near future. For now I'm stuck in Alabama hunting for gold. It's small but it adds up as you say. My oldest sister, cousin, maybe my mom and daughters too are about to go to Alabama Gold Camp for a few days. Hopefully we find some gold.
this one came up on my feed, There are not so many of your video's I havent seen. What a day that one was..lots of flatter easier areas to detect where you are now. Happy hunting .
Lol I’d need a lady to reach me lol 😂 only as blokes loose patience with me lol 😂 as I can not concentrate 30 minutes lol 😂 a butterfly may go past and I’ll stop 🛑 check it out start taking pictures lol 😂
@@OutbackGoldFever the rugged terrain seems to yield more, and given the difficultly and added danger, it would make sense few folks have taken it on. I would think the danger of snakes and other living creatures, would increase in the rugged terrain. I live in the Pacific Northwest of the US, in a small coastal tourist town where the most dangerous animals we have are black bears and they are mostly just garbage monsters and quick to run away. Quite unlike your snakes and spiders I would guess.
Wonderful thx for sharing your adventure with us! I’m sure it’s a major inconvenience to record it. As if the job isn’t hard enough throw in documenting it at the same time. Shewwww!
Love watching you guys dig around because so much of the country side in towns beautiful there I want to see if you can find you on Facebook it's so difficult for me I have macular degeneration one doctor told me I'm blind I can see just a little make it worthwhile to watch you
Great work, your husband is an extremely lucky man.😎 My wife detects well but she struggles to swing a GPX on a bungy for an hr. You are switched on and know your stuff 👍
Enjoy your videos and like the way you put them together. Well done and happy prospecting..Pity the border is closed so unable to join the hunt this year. Im interested that you don,t wear gloves.
Fucking legend! Still out there diggin for gold. Nice to see you and phantom again. I hope you do well and can keep on finding gold in Australia. Beste Grüße aus Hamburg!
Hi Krissy and Mark. I assume Mark isn't too far away when I don't see him in the videos. Q. Do you ever get scared being isolated camping in the desert. Q. Have you ever had experience of being robbed or waking up to find someone on or near your camp. Do you have a weapon.? Sorry for the type of question but I would like to know. Thankyou! 🤗🇭🇲
Hi Robbie, it's generally safe in the bush. We tend to camp in remote spots and usually don't see or hear anybody out there, like minded prospectors are sometimes about but we've never had any problems in the bush.
@@OutbackGoldFever Wow. Thanks for your reply. You mean you have actually found a spot where someone isn't trying to make your life miserable or perhaps even take advantage in some way. When I am at home in Sydney, doesn't matter how much I stay to my own space, somebody or people like family or government fines for not voting always comes along to spoil my illusion. O.K. that was a bit deep. I must have had that fire burning unattended for a while. I'm! Thanks for listening guys. Seem I have to travel to more remote places to get someone to listen nowadays. 🤣🤣🤣🥴 Stay well and prosper campers!
Great finds and video isn’t the gold worth more as specimens than just the gold? That’s what I’ve heard anyway... thx for sharing see you on the next one👍🏻👊🏻
@@OutbackGoldFever True that, we are pussies in comparison, complain about the little things, and here some of us are walking around with a 10k magic stick that can make many 1000's of dollars in a short period, those oldtimers must be looking down at us and saying (you lucky buggers, if only we had that in our time). It's looking like the time for me to get me self one of those magic sticks before ye all clean up the goldfields!!

Are you guys detecting on private or public land? And how do you know the difference? If it's private what is the split between you and the owners? And how do you even contact the owners and negotiate that stuff? Or is it a claim? Sorry for all the newb questions but it's all very confusing.
In western Australia most of the state is owned by the state and you can detect as long as it is not under lease/tenement. Trilobite app will show all tenements and your location 👍
Most of NSW is private property and you will need land owners permission. Some state forests allow detecting. We have only detected Nundle in NSW so cant give to much advise other than google NSW gold areas
@@OutbackGoldFever Ah, that's disappointing. I know you can fossick in most state forests here for a minor fee but I was hoping to expand that. I'll probably be spending more time at the beach looking for gold in the form of coins I expect.

Another good day. Your perseverance is extraordinary with so many holes turning up rubbish. Glad you found some reward for all that hard work.
We've been detecting in some remote areas on top of high ridges where you think no ones been before and we dig rubbish 🤣🤣 All part of the fun 👍

maybe I should clean my ears 😂
Outback Gold Fever 👂WHAT!!👂

Wow...it took me 1 year to find that much in California. You did it in one day👍🏻

yes, when you have the right buyer. thanks for watching!
Nice finds, just a question for you, that place looks fairly remote, but you did find a lot of junk, was that creek worked by the old timers?
Old timers and recent mining activities in that area! Amazing how far they had to WALK back in the day to get to those areas where there is no water!

Those smaller nails and that curved bit of metal you found look like they came from an old prospectors boot .. !
