Hey just so people know I just got back to town and walked into a shit storm. The reason I was unable to be in contact with iron horse was I was working in an area with no cellular service. We have talked today and I explained that in no way did I direct anyone to go on a forum to mother F anyone. I sent the saw to someone that knew more than myself to get information for both of us to use in this matter. None of this was done with malice. We will be dealing with this in a professional way I have no doubt that mr Harvey will take care of his end on this matter.
I sure hope you do give him a chance like you are saying. Sure seems like there is a piece of the puzzle being left out. It seems a shame that now The iron horse is not going to trust that any else will be honest when there is an issue. Give him a chance before you do anything else.
I find it’s always best to deal with a issue directly, getting outsider involved never ends well. If you have a problem go to the source, give the man a chance to make it right. I’m sure you would like to be treated that way if someone had issues with your work.
I hate the forums. Everything is blown out of proportion. I have no doubt Harvey will make it right parts brake even new parts happens more than people think
Dude.... why are you letting one ass-bag effect your whole show???????????? I’m not allowed to write anything else...because I’m following your wishes of not being a complete animal! I would definitely hope that you will reconsider letting some trash bag change one damn thing... to do with your beautiful channel and your daily flow! I’m shutting up...because I’m punching somebody in the eye mad!!!🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬!
You are the reason I started learning how to build saws I love your channel I know exactly what your saying I build automatic transmissions I did one for a guy told him he had to flush the cooling system to get all the burnt metal out of the lines he was a dumb ass put water hose in the radiator flush out the coolant did not touch the cooling system for the trans it's burnt up and melted the rear planets and clutchs because it couldn't get fluid thru the lines he said it was my fault a bad build and took it to another shop had them tear it down then wanted me to build him another one at my expense and give to him that's BS JUST LIKE YOU ARE DEALING WITH . There's idiots everywhere but most people ain't like that thank God in 5 years he is only one I had like that I love you content keep up the good work your a good man
I feel ya man. I choose not to be a people person. I think most people in these times take kindness for weakness. Don't let it eat you up, we know who and what they are. You're doing a great job.
I understand exactly where you are coming from about being an isolationists, and even more so in the last ten years or so. I have my own little marine repair. Gave up rebuilding engines because for customers because of there neglect. Can't afford to be sued or being talked about . Never had an engine come back for my neglect and wasn't about to start. Especially due to the poor fuel quality we have now and customers leaving boat set for months. I remember a advertisement in a magazine when I was a kid. It showed a man in a bearskin coat with a Russian looking cap looking off towards a mountain. The caption below the picture said " SOME MEN ARE MENT TO BE ALONE". It was a LIQUOR ad as I remember. Good for you for standing your ground. !!! Stay safe and may Hod bless you both
Its awesome that you show people the tips and trick you have learned over the years. Chin up and keep building your saws. You are the master builder.... Cheers ironhorse
By watching your videos I rebuilt a 61 white top and it runs great. Before your video I never in 70 years looked inside of an engine or knew anything about how to rebuild one. Sorry about your situation but you certainly gave me the confidence to achieve what I thought I couldn’t. Thanks !
I had to repair a brand new Husky and a Stihl, that the dealers had tried to fix so many times the owners gave up on them. Look at how many cars get recalled, but if a saw has an issue the world comes unglued. I appreciate the knowledge you share, I have learned a lot and am always willing to learn more.
Ironhorse, my helmet goes off to you my friend. I am a logger myself and I watch your videos avidly , great builds and built solid tough for logging. A loggers saw is his paycheck and yours are built tough.
Iron horse I love you content keep it up I just started my career in the logging industry and I absoloutly love it and thanks to your knowledge all i run is husqvarna 394xps they are my absolout favorite. I have learned so much from you that running my hopped up 394 just brings me so much pleasure. Thank you so much
Keep going Ironhorse. Thankyou for your service and your informative videos. Hello from Alaska's Fur Rondy. Your comment about heat is right, exponential. Avalanche. Sometimes I run my chain, with a little slack when bucking, I snug them up a bit on limbing but never tight. I see alot of guys, inexperienced guys run them tight and purple bars, I will show them if they listen, if they don't listen , keep going, they will learn the hard way. As soon as you detect a problem shut it down or clear the saw. Don't burn it up. Heat must be controlled, the pros know that, second nature.. sometines folks just got it or they don't. Some folks will listen and learn, some never will, keep going. Thanks. Keep up the good work. Hello to the family from the Alaskan.
Take a deep breath my friend,,,,,there's scores of people that learned a lot about their Saws & Life from just watching and listening,,,,,TO YOU ! .Thankyou i am one . A new ( old ) friend from Canada.
Just started watching and just subscribed, came over from BBR's channel. And from what I have seen, y'all's content is exactly why I watch....helps teach me how to use and maintain my own equipment. For this continued training, AND for your service to our beloved country, I am very grateful. I just started doi g some slabbing work as a side business so we'll see where that goes....if anywhere, hahhaaa. But this should give you and many others here a laugh, I felt like a kid at. Christmas with a favorite new toy as I ran my new-to-me Echo 600p, 27" full house chain, and new Alaskan mill on a maple trunk from my neighbors. That first cut was such a blast, I was smiling the whole cut and next cut too. 😄
All love here for all your great work and content ironhorse . It’s a shame some ppl gotta ruin the love of making a better cutting logging saw . Woulda loved the opportunity to send ironhorse a saw to torque up a little . I’m not a logger but a enthusiast of the power saw that cuts on the weekends . But no loved lost a mans gotta do what he’s gotta do and it’s a sad day . But hell its all about kindness and love I’ll always be here watching the content Uncle Harv!!!!
The world today and to some degree always has been cutthroat when money and fame is involved ,ive seen that some people defile another ones name to develop a name for themselves. Im new to the ch. and from the first one i watched i could tell there is a man that i can learn from, plus BBR has brought your name up several times in a good way , i judge a book by its cover and from what i can see your a man that stands behind his work, thankyou for the things you put on utube so i can learn from free of charge , its hard to not let the world change good people there is a shortage of goodhearted people and alot of them will take advantage of and seek out good hearted people to get what they can from you but i think love endures all things and will overcome evil ,much love from Mississippi keep on keeping on LJ
Don't let this crap get your blood pressure up. I am not a logger but have worked around loggers for years in BC and use my chainsaws to cut firewood. I joined your channel to learn how to fix my own saws and you have taught me a lot. Thank you. You have also got me going on fooling around with porting, which has been fun. With your help, a junked 365 xp built from a new crank up to running. Mind you it took 3 Chinese cylinders to get there. LOL. How long will it run is to be seen, but it was through you that I got there and it has given me a lot of pleasure and enjoyment. Thanks again and keep up the good work.
Harvey, just keep moving forward my friend. You can’t please everyone. Your content is very helpful to a lot of people and we’re all living and learning along with you. I’d send you a a saw any day.
He can't please anyone actually. Truth is he doesn't know what he's talking about more than half the time, and his saws underperform hard and his work is severely overpriced compared to other top, well known porters. The only reason people know about this guy and waste their money on 200 bucks chinese saws with a $600 "port-job" is due to BBR promoting him a few times. Sad truth. Nothing against BBR though.
@em4703 you sound like a hater of the man on some personal level. No one twists your arm to take part in his content. And if his prices bother you so much spend your money where you'd prefer good Sir. You have our permission.. all that lashing out about a guy when your no telling where doesn't make you sound like the voice of reason sir. I rings true of other things though. And they don't put me in the mind of integrity. The whole point of this ol fellers video, is his integrity has been attacked. He responded with his side of the argument. That's all the man did. Attacking him with more issues while he attempts to address one is kind of pilling it on a man. That ain't the way of it. Not in my book. People in our position, the peanut gallery, should listen and aid a resolution. Not kick a man when he's already being attacked from behind. I'd ride the river with him. I'd ride the river with you too. Unless that hater shit was prevailent
It’s too bad we can’t all just build saws our own way and just learn from each other. Build one another up. Turn the other cheek Harv, some people you can’t win with. Thanks for all your shared knowledge buddy I hope you continue.
keep doing what you do mister Harvey there are a lot of people nowadays that seem to think they know a lot and don’t experience teaches and you are passing that on if they would listen and learn and you are willing to work and resolve the problem keep moving forward
Hey man, so sorry for the grief you have received from thankless people. I enjoy everything about your channel, especially your excellent experience that you share. Keep doing what you're doing and those of us who are loyal followers will always watch. God bless you for putting all this time in without compensation. Cheers big brother..
Just came across your channel and enjoy it throughly. I thank you very much for passing your knowledge. I love cutting wood and have cut since I was 10 yrs old with old david Bradley. My second stihl saw is 046 magnum ported muffler. My grandpa/great grandfather built sawmills thruout Montana and Oregon. Deer lodge probly longest running mill. I remember timbersports in its infancy in kalispell Montana. I'm going to eventually port my 046 mag to make it mill slabwood faster. Least till I can get a bandsaw mill built. Currently converting my grandpa 1980 f150 into 4wd from 2wd with built 460. Stay strong. Don't let the bastards get you down.
Not sure this is relevant but I was in Northern CA in mid to late 70’s. Logging was winding down but still intense. Chip truck every couple vehicles on the road and the logging trucks seemed to fly down them dirt logging roads about 65 mph and three minutes apart. I was a young guy, not from a logging family, admired those guys, but was a bit intimidated by their toughness. I just wanted you to know there are some folks who love power saws, respect loggers and love the stories, tricks of the trade and eat up your sharing like a warm meal after a long day of work in the cold. Sorry to see you feeling treated badly, but remember there are some of us that didn’t make it into the logger profession but watch with respect. I still cut firewood with my 7- 10s and fire them up on the weekends, fell a few fir trees out here in the Pacific Northwest and still love to dream and hear from you guys I admire. Keep up the good work Harvey.
New sub here. I’m a backyard guy with a hunting camp in the southern tier of New York that i cut & split wood to heat my piece of paradise. I have learned a few tips from your channel keep them coming. I was watching BBR he highly recommend your channel that’s why I am here to support a great man.
Harv, the facts, I shook your hand and you looked you looked me in the eye, you helped with a quick response just like you said you would, and guys are proud to run your saws to make their living-top tier human and saw guy! God Bless and Do Good Stuff.
I'm a new subscriber and just a homeowner when it comes to saws and lumber. (Though I did work for logging companies in Maine when I was young) I don't care about the forums, your video's are top notch and your knowledge is invaluable. Thank you for what you do brother. Looking forward to future videos.
Hey Iron Horse, just wanted to thankyou for all of the useful knowledge Ive taken in watching you chanell. I've had two stroke knowledge since I was a child fetching beers while men fixed what I had broken and always had an interest in knowing how to repair and add power. Growing up building tripples and moving on with time to the big twins, well I'd like to think I've gotten rather good at it, then move on to saws and same theory, but a whole different theory. You've done an excellent job explaining the knowledge you've obtained and I thankyou for that. Would have taken a lifetime to obtain the knowlage and experience I now hold helping friends out. Don't let those forum guys get to you, I know its hard not to, especially when your being harassed for doing what you love to do, while helping other's. That will always come along with great success. Not sure why people do that, but it starts from fear, now I've herd you coment, you're not the best, your just passing on what you've learned, and I'm grateful for that but apparently you've become damn good at it, and its starting to scare some conceded facts, so try to take their negativity as a complement because the smack talk is only coming because you are damn good. Keep up the good work. I'm going to get back to the 3, 390xp pipes that I've seen you do all slightly different dimension wise in hopes of finding that sweet echo rebound effect that puts the most fuel and air back into the cylender. In hopes of obtaining some of those tricks up your sleeve you keep to yourself. At least till some of us catch up. Happy sawing
And this is why I try myself, May not be as good but I will learn. Thanks for all your information harv. I got my 385 together and it runs pretty good so far. I'm gonna keep trying until I get it. Keep moving forward buddy 👊
Ironhorse I love your channel fun is fun and I'm vested into your world good and bad. As shity as you must have felt sharing your thoughts here I'm glad you shared how much you care because we are all human and that's life. Keep up the great adventures. Your devoted fan Patrick.
Whether you're building saws for people or not, I'll enjoy your videos anyway. Trying to learn as much as possible so I can save money at the saw shop. Thanks for all of the info on your channel!
I'm with ya Harvey! Do what you need to do. I know for myself personally, i dont completely understand what it is you do, but understand the importance of what you do. Your content is still helpful to me as a guy who is just beginning down this path to use a saw as more than just a recreational user. Keep on keepin on sir!
Harvey, I am not a professional logger but have run a chain saw since I was a kid and I am 53 now. I work on my own saws and sharpen my own chains. I saw you at Buckinstock and got to see the saw you built for that run. It is one nice saw! I would be proud to have you work on any of my saws. I would love to have one of the 066’s you are building but have other priorities right now and can’t spend that kind of money on a saw right now. I love your channel and BBR’s as well and Mr. Obsolete’s among others. We all learn much from all of you and are pleasantly entertained along the way. It’s not the ups and downs in life that get you it’s the jerks along the way. Don’t let this get you down Harvey, your a good man. You know your stuff and do good work.
I am sure you did everything right ,the guy had to have run the saw straight gas with no oil or not enough oil or he ran the chain into the dirt and made the chain not sharp which overheated the saw ,I have fixed many backpack blowers, string trimmers and lawnmowers for people and I try to help people out and I will get whatever I am working on running perfect and I will give them instructions on proper use and care of their equipment and some people can't even get the basics right ,they will take the air filter off and get dirt in the carb ,run equipment with no oil or the wrong oil or put gas where the oil goes ,some people just don't get it ,I think you are doing the right thing just build saws for professional loggers that now what they are doing and for people you know, God bless you and your family and no worry's you still have my respect I know you do good work
Greetings from No VT - Do what you feel is needed, we will all back and support you. I just appreciate you being willing to share your knowledge with the rest of us.
I sure appreciate all the info you give us! People will always talk smack it doesn’t matter who you are or what you do. Keep on doing what your doing I love the channel and it has taught me how to build and mod my own saws!!
Mr.Harvy, don't let them get to you to brother. Some folks are just jealous of your good channel and your good nature. Man you are a Vet and you know how to handle situation's like these folks like to make for good people like you. Oh Yea, Thanks for your service !
I can't blame you Harvey. Some people just can't be pleased. We all know you build great saws. I'm going to continue watching your content no matter what.
Well this is an absolute shame, I've been sitting around my Saw Shop contemplating which saw of mine would be a good candidate for one of your Highway builds ... just for fun!!! I've got complete faith in your builds Harvey you're a real genius, just wanted you to know that. Keep up the great content, you have got a lot of great people here that support you. Don't let it get you down, hold your head up brother you know what you do, and that's all that matters.
I enjoy the channel and will always watch your content. Do what you feel is right. I believe that you will always make things right if something is wrong. I will say do not make any knee jerk reactions. There are a lot of ppl that would love to have your work in their hands. I might be selfish lol because I have been waiting for the time when I can send you one.
Haha love it Harvey! In Australia its called the tall poppy syndrome. When one person stands out (that is they are excellent or professional at something), you will always get a group of people who will try there best to knock them off. Keep your teaching videos coming and heaps more stories, as I can happily laugh with you on some of the antics, mischief and problems that we got our-self into as young lads.
Watching your channel has helped me more then i could ever thank you for. One day i would love to meet you at bucking stock and thank you in person. Love the work you do and i will always come to this channel for tips
Ironhorse I stand behind you. Your a good man. Your a reparable person. I saw what you did for Buckin when a saw went bad. He sent it back and you fixed it. You told us that story. Honestly goes a long ,long way.
New sub here. I've been binge watching your videos for the past week and loving every second of it. This Such a shame, but honestly they must see you as a true threat and big competition. Clearly it's about the dollar for them not the love a passion for the craft. Do what's best for you and the channel we all support you and your choices. Much love from Lancaster county Pennsylvania.
Keep up the great work Harv I look forward too more of your great videos !! I look every night for a new video so I can learn something new and just cant get enough of your wisdom and knowledge you have in everything not only saw but life lesson that you share thanks for that!!! HOPE YOU HAVE GREAT DAY
You don't have to listen to anybody on the forums like that you do your own thing you are a hell of a saw Builder don't let anybody ever tell you that you're an awesome man Iron Horse I respect you and your time on the internet thank you so much😊
I dont know Ironhorse, I would be honored to have a saw built from you. Guys seem to forget that any machine can fail at any time for any reason. And the way you handle an issue means everything! Shame on certain individuals for not giving a talented, skilled, and experienced builder a chance! Love your content! Keep up the amazing work and videos!! Much love from AZ!
Been there done that. I was a fly fishing guide and learned all about the forums. It’s easy to set behind a computer screen and run off at the mouth. Don’t let these few losers ruin a good thing. I enjoy your videos. Don’t let the idiots get to ya!
Forums are for people who cant operate Facebook lol. But yeah all that online b's just gives the ones that cant fend for themselves A voice they can abuse, instigate, antagonize and not have a fear of getting punched in the face.
Hi Harvey, new sub here. I just want to say keep up the good work you do! I grew up in the woods with a family of loggers. When they retired I got out, I ended up in roadway construction. I still have many saws and spend time in the woods cutting. A few of them needed help, I refuse to bring them to a shop. Between you, Tinman’s Saws and Kensie at Bayou Country, I have my saws in good running order! Tinman gave you a shout out, thats how I ended up a subscriber of yours. Thank You!
Good for you Iron Horse! Worked in the woods for years, you and buckin billy are my 2 favorites! Just real, true, accurate depiction of life witha chainsaw and the quest to improve and restore them
U a good man Harv... no worries... em's that know , know and no problem. Have a good one and let em spiral in their own mire. Stay cool and do u thing u way. Kindness rules and for sure, you got this!
I know a man when l hear him talk. I trust you an your work. Dont believe that bunch of damn lies. People just love to do that. Why talk about BBR just cause he trust you. Horse#$%@. Somebody's jealous an backstabbing. Cant print how l really feel.l think your the kind of man. That shakes your hand an looks u in the eye. CAN BE TRUSTEDZ
I'm relatively new to ur channel, love the content, advice, and absolute undenialble knowledge... From obvious experience. Very professional, just straight up old school values... Lucky that we have ppl like ya who r willing to share this knowledge with us.. As more and more of the older generation loggers leave us, this irreplaceable knowledge goes with em.. Thanks again. I know your tips have changedsome of my d habits that I assumed we're right..
Cast all your cares upon me and I will guard your mind and your heart. That is what God Almighty says about troubles. Blessings to you. I enjoy your work very much. I taught auto mechanics for thirty four year. We used to do plenty of cylinder head port matching and polishing. You are a teacher Harvey. Blessings
What a shame. So sorry you are going thru this. I have enjoyed all your content. I don't blame you on your decision. I hope you can continue to teach us who want to learn but I will understand and respect any decision you make on the direction of your channel.
you're channel is awesome ! I'm new to it and I'm learning a lot ! Just keep up the good fight ! Some peoples purpose in life is to be difficult ! And start trouble as well as be a keyboard commando ! And to run off at the mouth and not even give you a chance to make it right ! Just consider the source ! I like the channel and will keep watching !
Lets spread some love instead of anger folks, surely this can all be worked out without negativity. Peace & love from Maine to you all, and especially to Harv for his generosity in sharing his hard earned knowledge.
Im very sorry to hear this Harvey. Ive been planning on sending you a 046 saw this spring to make it happier. Looks like I'll have to try and order all the tools and watch a mess more videos on how you do what you do. Thanks for the content, i love watching and learning new things.
Your far bigger than them. You have pushed me forward. I’m 56 and have ran only pro saws since I could afford my first at 20 years of age. Your channel keeps in the pursuit of improvement. I have cut production but don’t claim to be anybody. I currently only cut and hand slit 40 +or- cord firewood. Someday I hope to have a big reed saw to send your way.
Sorry to hear, love watch your channel, you are the only one willing to show and teach people the how and why, and where to get parts ,witch tells me you a are a stand up guy. Was just starting to learn a lot about it. Keep them comming, do your thing don't worry about others, they will all pay in the end
The situation is unfortunate I understand your reaction don't let one bad apple spoil things,as a fellow New Yorker and a fire wood guy I believe and respect you.
Don’t let the bastards drag you down Harv. There’s always somebody that is going to spread their hate and no matter how much love you spread you just can’t help them. Keep doing what your doing, your a good man.
Not sure how to say this without being rude. Some people like to stir the pot but don't want to lick the spoon . You are handling this the right way Harve. Keep the content coming and your friends will be here.
Stay positive Ironhorse. There will always be a bad apple in the bunch. I have used some of your tips while clearing land for my new home I'm building. I hope you will one day start doing your fans saws again. If I could find my grandfather's late 70's sthil or his husqvarna I would love to have them rebuilt. Good luck and have a great day.
Mean People suck...I am a Luthier I make guitars and have just started milling my own wood and have never used a chainsaw until 2 weeks ago it is currently 12-11-22 I am so thankful for your channel and yourself for sharing your knowledge I absolutely have fallen in love with powers saws and your content is pure gold for myself and learning how to maintain and modify these awesome tools...God bless you your family and your friends please keep up your great service to all of us who have your back and who are proud to call you a friend
You took the words right out of my mouth. Always has to 1 to mess it up for everyone. Sad because I really wanted an Iron Horse saw because he is a man of his word.
I am new to the channel. Do what you have to do . I only watched 3 videos so far . Hoping to learn more about rebuilding a saw that my dad had years ago . Thank you for the great videos. Peace and love from wisconsin.
I've never done business with ironhorse but he seems like a legit guy . I believe he's real good at building saws. Things do regardless if new or just put of the shop develope unexpected problems . It's one thing if won't offer to fix the problem but ironhorse is offering to do what he can . You can buy a semi truck brand-new for $250,000 and it'll have problems continuously.
Hey Harvey! I have learned more from you and Buckin than anyone in the business. I use your videos to get me through things when I'm in a pinch. And to enjoy the stories!! Lol. Love you Brother!!
I would trust you to build for me. I've seen your work and know you are a professional when it comes to saws. Don't let them win. Love wins and you win. Opinions are like armpits. Everybody has them it's just some smell bad. Love you man.
I watch your channel because I enjoy the content, the community and value your expert opinions and advice when it comes builds and working on saws - Thank You IRONHORSE for sharing that knowledge! (never did care much for those forums where everyone claims to be an expert and bash the next guy.)
I Mr ironhorse have believed in you with all the honesty and whole hearted words you speak you are a man of love for what you do and I'm thankful for the videos you make I watch em all you sir buckin bellhopper all of them I will also admit I am noooooo way a logger I'm a heavy equipment mechanic and I like to tinker see how things work and to see if I can customize things to make them work better I have learned so much from all of ya videos from chainsaws to being an honest humble man standing behind my word doing whats right I have built a few chainsaws just from watching you just to see if I could do it matters may be fixed by now with the whole situation but damn you are a man of ya word and I will be a man of my word an will always tune it to see what mr harv is doing this week...by the way I built a husqvarna 268 ported muffler and a highway dome piston and in the words of ironhorse shes a good run saw an hasnt stopped yet peace and love from Massachusetts stand tall good sir
I can say I’ve really enjoyed seeing your work and bringing some of these old saws back to life. I’ve seen Buckin Billy Ray’s videos with his Mcculloch saws, and if I’m not mistaken you’ve worked on a few of them. I know he’s put them to the test.
I am no logger, but my saws get way better maintenance and care then alot of loggers that I see. Didn't care for that statement Harv... Nobody gives a 100,000 mile warranty on a drag car so who would expect one on a hot rod saw? Heck...the manufacturers barely stand behind em new and all choked down. Just keep doing your magic and the groundhog says you will be riding again soon!👍!
Well the good thing is I have learned something about this other saw builder that will keep me from EVER doing business with them! Keep up the good work Harvey....
Can't believe how petty people can be. You did the guy a service and he wouldn't even let you have a crack at it. That's messed up. You keep doing what you do harv. I like your channel, and I like the work you do. Keep up the good work. Your a solid dude.
Yeah most places would void a warranty for a different company builder or whatever to perform service to view internals even though not touching or modifying the equipment.
I know ur feelings, I did concrete work for forty years, people will talk trash . If urnot honest the trash talkers always go away, some die a short life .truth always be honest .god bless y'all real good.
You bet he will Jesse. I can't believe how bad he got ripped on this. It will be addressed properly. You can believe that.
I do watch the videos for the saw content but your words of wisdom and from the education of time are the real value. Thanks
There's idiots everywhere but most people ain't like that thank God in 5 years he is only one I had like that I love you content keep up the good work your a good man
A man is only as good as his word...from what I can tell, you're word is good. Keep up with the videos, we appreciate you.
You do great work and great videos, I learned/ learning a lot, that is unfortunate that you had such an experience with that person.
Thanks John and wife!
Welcome to the channel Larry! Pull up a chair and stay a while! We all learn together! I want this channel to always be a happy place!
I have been working on and working with saws for over 25 years and every time I watch one of your billeds I learn alot. Much respect.thank you.
Harvey, just keep moving forward my friend. You can’t please everyone. Your content is very helpful to a lot of people and we’re all living and learning along with you. I’d send you a a saw any day.
Indeed
Yes!
Yep! It chaps my ass that some butthead might have ruined it for the rest of us. I just spoke of the very idea yesterday.
Thanks for all your shared knowledge buddy I hope you continue.
keep doing what you do mister Harvey there are a lot of people nowadays that seem to think they know a lot and don’t
experience teaches and you are passing that on if they would listen and learn and you are willing to work and resolve the problem keep moving forward
Hey man, so sorry for the grief you have received from thankless people. I enjoy everything about your channel, especially your excellent experience that you share. Keep doing what you're doing and those of us who are loyal followers will always watch. God bless you for putting all this time in without compensation. Cheers big brother..
Ironhorse love your builds, Buckin Billy's saws is mean! God bless ,ALOHA...
Very well said Harvey is still the man love his enthusiasm still keep rebuilding enjoy seeing the builds and in the woods
Your still number on in my eye ! And your word is gold as far as I'm concerned, no one can convince me any different period.
One bad apple Ruineds the hole batch I was wanting iron horse to build me a saw. I’ve always heard nothing but good things about this man
Whether you're building saws for people or not, I'll enjoy your videos anyway.
Harvey,
I am not a professional logger but have run a chain saw since I was a kid and I am 53 now.
I'm sorry for peoples petty BS and bravo for being you a straight up stand up man. From one logger to another.
I am sure you did everything right ,the guy had to have run the saw straight gas with no oil or not enough oil or he ran the chain into the dirt and made the chain not sharp which overheated the saw ,I have fixed many backpack blowers, string trimmers and lawnmowers for people and I try to help people out and I will get whatever I am working on running perfect and I will give them instructions on proper use and care of their equipment and some people can't even get the basics right ,they will take the air filter off and get dirt in the carb ,run equipment with no oil or the wrong oil or put gas where the oil goes ,some people just don't get it ,I think you are doing the right thing just build saws for professional loggers that now what they are doing and for people you know, God bless you and your family and no worry's you still have my respect I know you do good work
social media helps us grow and ruins so much at the same time sucks, dont let it get you down iron horse your a legend and a help to so many of us!
Keep helping us out with what you do......you are appreciated trust me...
How do you know that? 🤔
Hang in there Harvey. Love your channel. Learned a lot from you.
Another Aussie with u,let's support Harvey, he's a good teacher
Spot on brother, life is like a sled dog race if you're not the lead dog the scenery is the same !!!!!
Keep up the great work Harv I look forward too more of your great videos !! I look every night for a new video so I can learn something new and just cant get enough of your wisdom and knowledge you have in everything not only saw but life lesson that you share thanks for that!!! HOPE YOU HAVE GREAT DAY
Everyone is a critic, everyone knows everything. Whatever it is you find that one guy. Keep on truckin Ironhorse
I enjoy your and buckins videos and old school hard earned tips - Ive learned a lot thank you sir
I will still watch.. I like you as a person, and always enjoy your educational content. Keep doing you man!! Thanks
I sure enjoy watching your channel and learning
I love the channel! I'm here for an education, so thanks for the help!!
I really don't thing any of your real followers are gona fall for that crap...but well done venting it out. You are an inspiration... thanks
Just want to say Thx to you and Billy, I appreciate all the work you guy's do on UA-cam ... Sorry there has to be always that One guy....
Your right on everything you said harv. Some people just don't know how to be respectful and try to work things out. Keep on!
Keep the vids going, I enjoy you sharing your knowledge.
Always gotta be 1 to mess it up for everybody else. Keep doing wat you been doing harv. 👍👍
Hope some day il have one off your buildt saws, ceep up the good work, im learning new things from you all the time! Thumbs up!
Hey Harvey! I have learned more from you and Buckin than anyone in the business. I use your videos to get me through things when I'm in a pinch. And to enjoy the stories!! Lol. Love you Brother!!
Thank you for all you do on this channel harvey .don't swett the haters .keep going with teaching people to work on their own saws .
I would trust you to build for me. I've seen your work and know you are a professional when it comes to saws. Don't let them win. Love wins and you win. Opinions are like armpits. Everybody has them it's just some smell bad. Love you man.
Way to keep it real. I appreciate you passing on your years of experience.
Harvey' keep up the good work. I love watching your work.
Amen
You are the type he would like to build for. 80% of chain speed comes from maintenance the other 20 comes from the build.
@@cullenjdrake 👍👍
Well the good thing is I have learned something about this other saw builder that will keep me from EVER doing business with them! Keep up the good work Harvey....
Can't believe how petty people can be. You did the guy a service and he wouldn't even let you have a crack at it. That's messed up. You keep doing what you do harv. I like your channel, and I like the work you do. Keep up the good work. Your a solid dude.
Yeah most places would void a warranty for a different company builder or whatever to perform service to view internals even though not touching or modifying the equipment.
Id close that door and keep on trucking ,he burned his bridge.
I know ur feelings, I did concrete work for forty years, people will talk trash . If urnot honest the trash talkers always go away, some die a short life .truth always be honest .god bless y'all real good.
We will always stand behind you Harvey
