Paradise Garage Tim Curry HD, Clarified, 16x9 Theatrical

- When Tim Curry's music video for Paradise Garage off his Fearless album was shown theatrically on 35mm prints, it was cropped to 1.85:1 to fit the screen. The 16mm prints were left open-matte (1.37:1). Presented here is a 16mm rip from a private collector, it was upscaled to 1080p HD, clarified and matted to 1.85:1 to recreate the original theatrical presentation (as shown before The Rocky Horror Picture Show from the late 70's through until the early-to-mid 90's). Enjoy!

Vogue Theater, St. Matthews Kentucky. I saw Rocky in at least three productions in New York, two in Los Angeles, Dallas, Bay Area. When traveling if the local free paper said Rocky was running I knew where I would be at Midnight.
I eventually made excuses to delay meetings in the Louisville area just to be at the Vogue at midnight Saturday. Best production ever. And they did it again and again.

Sometimes I think that... if he was mostly focusing on the music industry rather than the acting , he could have been a huge music legend with such a voice..... but the thing with Tim is that he has so,so many talents and whatever he does it's victory!!

I used to listen to " fearless" on cassette tape in the late 80's. A few years ago I got nostalgic and tried to find it on CD or Mp3, to no avail. Truly brilliant work, I don't understand the industry, so don't know why it's not available. Tim Curry is one of a kind, a beautiful and talented man.
This is why most of us have reverted to vinyl. I have a pristine copy of "Fearless" as well as the 12" single for this track. Do yourself a favor: get a turntable. Be good to yourself.

I bought his first album Read My Lips, album from my older brother when he sold his album collection. I kept it up until my daughter, as a toddler, broke it with a viewmaster. I hunted for years after to find it to no avail. I eventually found it on cassette at a local underground music store about 10 years ago. The quality was not very good. I was eventually able to find the vinyl on ebay as well as the CD.
Brings back sweet memories. Glad I got this on LP.
