Dude wtf
You pump butts?
@Bilal Khalid Not a good bike. Quite the joke as they showed for valid reasons.
I really want the grom but dont have the money plzzzzzz
It's common knowledge you start on a Busa and work your way up to the Grom.
Don't forget to NOT ask your parents.
So I should get a Turbo Busa and not the used Grom some sketchy guy is selling to me ?
Stfu
no joke thou currently on the v4 panigale and i want the grom so bad.
@@patthonsirilim5739 I know all the points are valid, even then I still want a grom
So, the grom is smaller and isn't throttle sensitive, which makes it a bad beginner bike.
The busa is huge and snappy, which makes it the perfect beginner bike! Buy a busa!
Im 4'6 😭
TURBO BUSA!!!!!
Only if it's turbo Busa. Now jokes aside Hayabusa is not snappy at all it has very friendly throttle map and power delivery. It's an overpowered touring bike and very easy to ride without any drama the only issue is the weight of the bike. gsxr1000 is much more snappy and radical compared to the Hayabusa.
@@Fearless154 agreed. But in my country, it cost wayyyyy too much for anyone to own here😂 i went and checked it out the other day and as it turns out, higher cc engines bikes insurance and licencing alone can buy you a perfectly capable 250cc bike. And it's not even fun to ride a superbike in our twisted and hilly mountain roads
@@omega_acxd Buy a grom! No joke it's really cool
It almost feels like a GROM killed Yammie's family
Good he deserves it pos
I don't trust Spite. He likes Harleys and has a ponytail. Clearly he knows nothing about making good decisions.
😂
I'm a petite 5 foot 3 woman and the Grom is actually a perfect beginner bike for me because it fits my proportions. I rode a Grom for my M2 course here in Toronto, Canada and I found it really easy to manoeuvre. I'm a pretty avid cyclist (commuted to work on my bike this past winter) and I'm so used to cycling that the speed of a motorcycle still kind of startles me lol. I love it but I'm not used to it yet so the Grom is very manageable for me to learn on. Thanks for the video tho great to hear different points of view!
I’m bout to learn on one myself at my mss course. It’s the one I clicked the most with out of everything I’ve sat on for the past couple months. It’s the only one that I feel I can totally manage without it feeling like it’s too big or too much bike for me.
If it sucks so much as a beginner bike then why does the motorcycle safety course use it? Lol.
Second of all if you’re a beginner rider, why are you jumping on the highway? I know I’m not gonna be going on the highway with a motorcycle let alone my car because there’s so many jerk drivers out there.
Maybe for these tall guys that are used to riding busas and bigger bikes, obviously you’re too tall for the grom, so why would you make a video about the grom being so horrible?
I mean it’s horrible for you cuz you’re tall, experienced, and you like the things you like. but you have to consider also people who are shorter than you, maybe women riders, and there’s other things to consider. you shouldn’t just throw this bike under the bus because you’re tall and you don’t like it. Sorry but I think your review is biased. I am in agreement with Junbug
So badly want a grom. Parents don’t want me getting a motorcycle because they’re too dangerous. I didn’t win them over with the fact the grom has 9-10 horsepower, tops out at 56 and gets 130 something miles to a gallon. Yet I drive a car that sounds like it’s about to blow up, that I am basically guessing what gear I’m entering when shifting cause the stick is sloppy.... hmm
Shit be thankful you got somthin. Could be worse
I don't think it's common for parents to Want their children to get motorcycles, they're dangerous. If you want one though and have the means of getting one, you gotta go for it - you don't need and probably will never get their approval
How old are you? I bought a Z650 when i got 21 because I also couldnt get a motorcycle when I was 16-20 so I just waited untill I got older
I feel bad for you only reason I got mine is bc it so slow
@@jollygreengiant9490 i did with mine and my parents hates bikes
"you can be rougher with this throttle than you were with yourself last night" lmao best line I've ever heard 😂😂😂
Trying to not let my imagination go with this one.
My Aprilia Tuono has been sitting in my garage since I purchased a grom to teach my daughter to ride.A grom is a great starter bike for new riders & a blast for experienced riders. Just my 2 cents.
anyone who says "this isnt a REAL bike" clearly doesnt know what they're talking about I mean like anything with two wheels and a motor is REAL enough for me like my pit bike rides almost just like a grom and I've learned a whole lot on it.
They compared a 300cc to a 125cc on a speed test up a hill. Clearly missing brain cells.
I've had many bikes at this stage, my current daily driver is a grom. Previous owner was 6'6 and had no issues with riding position or knees getting in the way for a full lock, it just needs to be set up correctly.
@@woodiedave1179 Exactly
How did this sentient dog know how rough I was with myself last night?
It’s my first bike and i don’t ever plan on getting rid of it. I live in Fort Lauderdale so it’s perfect for my day to day commute. Also, a mt03 a real bike? Come on now. Apples to oranges 😂
I mean he is comparing the Grom to a beginner bike after all, not doing a Grom review.
Title should have been. Psuedo intellectuals hate on short people...
Not just short people, but people who can't wrestle a 350lb bike all day. I'm both
@hothsurvivor & @TheQ I'm 5-7 w/32" inseam and ride a VStrom 1000 without lowering or seat modifications. Only balls of feet touch ground with boots. 530 lb bike that has NEVER been laid over and capably ridden even 2-up w/wife. Also, own an ride DR650 and same story as far as suspension and seat. The key here is I know "how" to ride a motorcycle.
I haven't ridden a bike under 185 cc since I was 14 years old and anything under 250 cc does not belong on American roads. Face it in America Groms are under-powered "junk" and poor value as far as motorcycles are concerned.
I suppose if you are "shrimp" size or have a third world level income because of some intellectual disability than you might settle for a Grom but then maybe you should stick to bicycles or get a job as a circus clown so you can be paid for people to laugh at you riding your mini-bike for money.
To us in the Philippines, we are happy and contended with bikes and scooters at 100cc to 150cc. Though we can't use it in toll roads we can reach out destinations without any issues.
I'm 6'3 198lbs and I got a grom as my first and only bike. I love it, but I only ride it around town. It's a fully modded bike, intake, tune and exhaust so it's a bit more peppy than a stock grom. I do however fully plan on getting a bigger bike really soon. Ride safe friends!
sorry Yam, you've missed the whole point! In 2 weeks a beginner (never ridden before) can grow as much as spending the whole season on a regular bike (personal experience with my wife). then can easily get to a 650 or something.
I've had a Grom for two years and 16,000 miles and its brilliant. Admitidly I am a mere 5' 4", weighing in a 140lbs, so for me to have a bike I can actually flat foot is great. It does all I ask of it and I have got up to 75mph (down hill with the wind behind me) but I would agree it's not the best bike for anyone of average height and above.
samesies!!!!!
I'm 5'3 and looking to get into bikes so I am considering a grom
As a 140lbs 5'8" Adult men, almost everything you said seemed positive except the highway part.
I can confirm that at 45 mph it still hurts to go down on the grom.
Can I get a no shit
@@bil5479 no shit
Fact's
No regrets getting my Grom as a first bike. Love this thing. Its the Grom that could.
never been on a bike before and ive just ordered mine, looking forward to it!
And that's why I recommend every beginner start of with a busa, teaches you good throttle discipline, instead of going full-blown open throttle like these gromsters have been doing.
Swap a CBR300R engine if it doesn’t have enough power
Nah too weak need LS swap.
@@Fearless154 with a supercharger lol
Busa swap
@@Fearless154 the forza boys are gonna drop a lambo v12 in there.
or a honda nsr 125 engine about the same power just half the weight
I'm short so send that grom over here
Short doesn’t matter, stop on one leg. THE END . Ull believe me one day
Tbh, even though it is short, the seat is quite high, my benelli grom feels as tall as my 1250
@@williamjagkenny5977 I'm not that short
@@bil5479 24inch rims on my bicycle so I'm not that short because I'm able to use both legs on the groind
Its all well and good comparing a grom to a mt03 but if im not mistaken, you are comparing a 125 to a 300. In England thats a whole different license because of power restrictions etc. But if you are comparing a 125 to another bike, maybe another 125 is more usefull for beginner riders
Right on mah boy
My suzuki eliminator 125 spanked my dudes grom haha. I graduated to bigger ones tho
Agree, he doesn't really cater to us UK bois though :(. He's in Freedom Land where you can basically start out on a Busa if you want
@@BritishArmyTributes cant always have it perfect though. Always great content though
@@lukechorlton4517 No complaints here! We love the Yam
I got it as a first bike and put 3000 miles on it commuting through DC all season I really enjoyed riding it. Its pretty good offroad with duel sport tires.
Would it be ok to go off road with stock tires?😅
I love the complaining about an A1 market bike not being a good beginner bike, it's a 125cc, it's literally designed for a beginner bike market? In your market, it's meant to be a toy, in most other markets, it's a brilliant bike for both learning on and for commuting on.
Keep in mind the US is different than Europe. Many speed limits are higher here and more people use highways. If you're just in city then of course the power is fine. Also it's intentionally small framed and ergonomically isn't right for many people as they said in the video. It's designed to be a toy bike unlike other 125-300cc bikes.
Little Green mate, I directly mentioned that the US market is different. That doesn’t just magically stop it being a beginner bike.
I agreed with "it a joy" but a poor learning tool for a beginner. The yammie's argument was that grom doesn't teach you skills which are necessary for a new rider. You can ride grom for many years but you'll never learn throttle control, Proper braking skills, and body position and actually, it can teach you bad habits with the throttle and braking. Yes, You can perfectly own a grom as your first bike and have tons of fun but if advancing as a rider is your goal it'll be a poor choice.
Anton Newman wrong the grom can teach you trottle control you just have to try and ride where the speed limit is low and don’t just imagine jumping from a grom to a r1 start thinking of reality not nonsense.
@@off.coast.gromer5940 Jump from grom to r3 will be an issue let a lot to r1. What throttle control it can teach you? Literally to start moving with a grom you need full throttle.
I'm 6'3 175lbs and have one as my first bike. My advice is to just sit on the back seat if your legs don't fit by the tank. 10hp is all I need to get around town, and if j need to go on the highway ill just drive a car.
Daaaaaamn bro😂I'm just imagining a tall dude on one of those things
A lot of your reasons of why its not a beginner bike supports it being a great beginner bike. I don't want my kid to get on the freeway until he has a year or so of riding under his belt. He's small so the fact that that the bike is small is perfect. It's underpowered, great! I don't want him doing wheelies and showing off or going 100+ mph. Your reasons are b.s.. The weight is another great reason.
You know it’s a 125 cc bike and only have 9 hp right? And there are more countries in the world than just USA so in norway a honda grom is an amazing bike for a a1 license and everyone loves it here and you actually you have to be gentle with the trottle but you can say what you want
I’m 5”6, 16 gonna get a grom for my 17th I don’t need the motorway just to have a lil fun with my friends and go college :)
The grom won't be very practical for going to college as it will very quickly become uncomfortable and you may struggle to keep up with traffic. All up to you.
@@joey5773 naah, he'll be fine. He can easily split between cars in traffic jams and have a lot of fun on it with his friends.
@@miklasson good point, I guess it's all personal preference.
Don't listen to them. I have a 2019 Yamaha R1 but i still prefer the grom. It's a fun bike to whip around on. I'd take my grom to work majority of the times instead of my r1
The R1 needs longer time for the engine to heat up since it's a lot bigger. You could easily start the grom and instantly drive away or go on the highway without worrying about blowing the engine. Which is way more practical for commuting.
I started on a Grom! Graduated to a Ninja 400, now I ride a ZX6R, Vulcan 800, Suzuki Savage and DR350. Still have my Grom also and would have never taken up riding if not for the Grom!!
I’ve heard soooo many people say it’s a great beginner bike...
Do u think it is? And how tall are you?
@@nickcraciun the more I learn about riding, the more I think the Grom is not a great beginner bike. I would recommend the Grom as a second or third bike, because you appreciate how fun it is once you have the fundamentals of riding mastered. I'm 5'10" by the way.
@@DR4WZ thanks a lot man! From what I’ve read and seen since this, I now think I’m going to get a different bike to start on. I’ve never ridden before, so I don’t wanna start with something like the grom, especially if it doesn’t teach the skills properly.
@@nickcraciun no problem! If I could go back and talk to my former self, I would have recommended starting on something like a used Ninja 650. Try to pay cash outright, because I think when you finance a motorcycle, you're more nervous of dropping it, so you may be hesitant to lean it, practice slow speed maneuvers, etc. If you own it outright and someone has already dropped it for you a few times before you buy it, you're just adding to the character when you drop it, plus it'll be a heck of a better price! Anyway, the Ninja 650 is a parallel twin which means it has predictable power, lower seat height than a 4 cylinder 600 Supersport, and very forgiving of jerky inputs from the rider. That's where I would start...
I did my CBT (basic training) on a Grom. I'm 6'1, 17 stone and felt like I was riding on a hair dryer.
same did mine on Z125. I am 6'3 200lbs.
@@zhangdy1108 did you struggle with the tight U turns sometimes because turning the bars and arranging your legs and arms is like origami on a Grom? I sure did
Dave Bostock totoally. It did not go full lock cuz my legs were blocking it. And the throttle control is a bitch. Stalled it all the time :p
@@zhangdy1108 no clue why you'd want to go full lock anyways. When is it proper to go full lock?
I had my driving lessons on a Grom
Edit: This was in Germany and I took it on the Autobahn
I disagree with some of the things you say..
I've been driving a Grom (MSX125) for 3 years.. It is amazing in tight traffic like where I live in Chiang Mai, Thailand. This bike was my first motorcycle.
I have driven big bikes as well, and of course they are better for some things, but zipping in and out of close traffic is not one of them :P
Of course a 230 lb. 6 foot dude shouldnt get a grom but a 16 yr old kid that you want to live. This bike is good for learning how to drive.
Every 125cc rider feeling attacked!
Totally disagree. My Z125 was a perfect way to get into riding. Easy to maneuver, light and has excellent gas mileage. Its not fast but it doesn't need to be. It is fun and easy to ride starting out. I commuted to work for over a year on this and loved every minute. I have upgraded to a bigger bike and have now turned my Z into a trail bike but both bikes are fun in their own way and owe my start in the sport to my Z.
This guy is biased af dont take him too serious
@@berkk29 I generally find his videos resourceful and have gained a lot of riding knowledge from them but just had to give my 2 cents on this one as a proud owner of a 125.
It was my first bike... I sold it, never got another motorcycle :(. It was so fun
Why'd you give up riding man?
That's a weird story.

Couldn't afford it on his parents allowance after buying soy milk and video games. Drinking all that soy milk caused him to get jiggly man breasts that were all the more apparent on the Grom clown bike and his buds started trying to cop a feel😂
When I wrecked my ninja 500 I went down at about 35-40mph
My bike got totalled and I was pretty banged up in a world of pain (tho thankfully nothing broken... Just a VERY bad shoulder and knee sprain and some road rash.. Still enough to be out of it for a bit!)
The way I see it, it doesn't matter how big or small your bike is, going down at 35mph is going down at 35mph, and if a grom can go as fast if not faster then they are just as dangerous as riding a ninja 500 at the same speed lol
I have to say I’m new to street bikes and haven’t been on any kind of bike in several decades. At 6’1 280 I picked up a grom at the beginning of summer, a 3 owner 19 with 1500k for 2500 bucks. With the exception of turning completely numb after 25 miles I loved every minute of it. Any intimidation factor wore off in under three minutes. After 1000 miles I rode 50 miles to trade it on a new cb500f and got more in trade than I paid for it plus a price of 5k on the new one. I did have an offer of an mt03 for 500 dollars less but thought the cb500f was easily worth 500 more and I’m glad I did. I’m not intimidated at all on it outside of the wind blast at 70mph which any naked bike will do. I see your point and agree to an extent but for me it was a good progression and one I think I’ll be happy with for many years as it’s purposed as a commuter first and leisure a distant second. For 2500 that I recovered over 100% I confirmed I did want a commuter bike and wanted to do so within the same timeframe as a car. Win.
A grom was my first bike and despite all these very true negatives, it was so much damn fun ... especially when u hit those nooners
Did you ever “outgrow” it or become bored of it?
The grom panic braking can definitely lock the front wheel and make you flip over the front. Someone did it during my MSF course lol.
I used a Grom to get the motorcycle endorsement on my license. It felt like cheating since everything is about low speeds and I felt it handled great in that parking lot. I ride a 500 on the streets though because i like actually having torque but don't want to kill myself with a liter bike.
i went from a 1000cc to a grom LOL the grom is so fun
Perfect for me I'm small and dont plan on getting a full size motorcycle
The Grom is what I did with my motorcycle course on. It does have a friction zone but it's so so tiny that I stalled over 10 times during the first hour of my course
I probably stalled 50+ times over the weekend while doing the course on a grom 💀 I also noticed the same thing with the friction zone
In the 70s my buddy had a Honda 90 that we would all ride. It would flip when you spank the throttle. One of my friends wheelied it into a log pile and dislocated his shoulder. We tried to fix it with a book but eventually took him to a hospital in the back of an old pickup.
hahaha
now thats a childhood
Lolz. "You can be tougher with this throttle..." Thanks yam. I almost spit my coffee no lie. 👍
your videos are just above all other motorbike creators the way you talk to your viewers is just perfect i love it 😂 keep up the work man ♥️
I have one sat in my garage ready for my 17th birthday thats in 11 months :D In the UK you can have a 125cc at 17 and no more, so I'll be using it for college commuting.
8:03 hands on the waist Yammie! You can pull the throttle while holding onto the shoulder.
i really, really, really miss my grom.
Funny how the grom got such a cult following, wonder if Honda will invest in making it a better bike now as there's clearly demand and it seems like they put bare minimum effort at first.
you meet the nicest people on a honda example look at these cute couple on a grom
No
Grom Squad for life
I've been watching your videos for a year now i finally passed my driving test today on the way home I stopped by Aprilia with my dad and I am now the owner for a 2017 Rsv4 rr
This was actaully a really cool video to watch. As someone that started on a Grom (still owns it) and bought an R3 a year later, I can actually agree with these arguments. Learning on the Grom was definitely not the greatest for reasons you explained like the price to quality comparison or top speeds (although i've done 67 on the interstate with a stock engine grom) but the main reason I was probably able to get away with it is because i'm so dang short for an "adult". Being stuck at 5'4" kinda made the Grom good for me, even though learning on the R3 would've probably been better. I've let my friends ride the Grom and they all love it but unless you're a shorter rider, it definitely isn't a beginner bike. Out of everything though, the Grom did make me realize one thing. Upright riding is a lot more comfortable. MT-09 here I come lol. Thanks for the awesome video!
Why don’t you do a z125 review, compare the two.
I'm so Glad Spite is on the channel even for the fact alone that he is similar sized to me!
These reasons are not good enough to stop me.
Why would you want a grom as your first bike anyway? It lacks any appeal, It looks like shit it rides like shit and you can't ride outside the city. I can see the appeal for experienced rider to get one to beat the living crap out of it. Just curious why makes you want to own a bike like this as your first one?
@Joey Jackson "Just mod it" and what you'll get 3 mph added to your top speed while wasting money which could buy you already a much more capable bike. Let not mention the fact that riding a grom in highway speeds is an absolute rape of its air-cooled small engine and it won't last for long by doing so. No shit captain obvious it appeals to him more than a bigger bike if he wants one that's why I asked him for the reason in the first place.
@@Fearless154 IMO these guys treat buying a Grom motorcycle like another toy or a form of entertainment. It's for those unwilling to go all in and commit financially to something that is actually safe and practical. Maybe the Groms are viewed as less intimidating. The Grom and it's it's other competitors are hitting a price point in the $3,500 range after taxes. Realistically, individuals could buy a used 1, 2 or 3 year old superior bike for less or new carry-over year models for only slightly more.
Who knows maybe it's because the circus is actively recruiting and there are many new future career opportunities for clowns in training.
@@kannermw It really doesn't matter what you or anyone thinks about the Grom. If he wants one and feels happy with it then who can stop him.
That Nick Longo Anyone can obviously spend their money as they choose. Fundamentally, I have an issue with individuals misleading others (young naive buyers) to not look at other potentially better options. They do this by misrepresenting Grom without other fair benchmarks of comparison. Yammie provides a true educated perspective that Grom buyers refute because they feel compelled to justify their decision based on their personal bias (human nature) . If you only ever rode a goat then don’t imply that a horse wouldn’t be a better choice. IMO and probably Yammies, a Grom is mostly a goat.
What about for us who are vertically challenged?
So I’m 29. 5’11” about 175lb. Grom was my first bike. (Had riding experience prior). Some easy mods like clutch springs will help clutch feel. I had a built drz400sm and traded that for a fz07. Fz07 is an amazing bike and I feel I can grow into it a little more. But the grom still has a place in my garage, and will for a long time because around town is just so fun. Plus a lot of my friends have groms so that helps too. I’d recommend a grom as a first bike, esp someone that’s intimated to get on anything bigger. Can introduce them to how to counter steer. Use a clutch and shift, basic maintenance. I do agree that using one to commute day to day is a little much, but as a toy, it’s great.
Intro alone is why i love y'all more than anything ty for convincing me to buy a motorcycle
*Top ten biggest anime fights: Number 10. “Yammie noob and spite who has to ride the grom for this video”
I took my motorcycle safety course on a grom and I almost failed because I couldn’t find the friction point and kept stalling.
Absolutely love this bike for riding around town.
After watching a few videos I realized I live in the same area - love seeing the neighborhood!
Its a beginner bike for short people like me😂
Your content keeps getting better and better. Teaming up with Spite was such a big dick maneuver and it added so much dynamic commentary. I effin' love this channel.
2023 Honda grom is my first bike and first ever motorcycle ever ride. I’m in love with riding now. Now I want a bigger bike.
I have a Z125 as my first bike. I love it! I’m short so that’s a huge plus and got it next to dirt cheap.
I bought a Ducati scrambler 800 before getting a motorcycle endorsement kind of a knee jerk decision with no test rides and minimum research online. Ended up being a great bike, no reliability problems at all. Considering I see them going on cycle trader for around $6,000-7,000 with really low mileage, I think they are a great beginner bike.
I used a grom for the MSF last month. It really was too small even for that and I’m small, 5’7” 130lbs. I dominated the figure 8 box on the grom but found myself struggling with my Z400 on the same day. Clutch control wasn’t learned properly and groms turn tight like a bicycle allowing for some bad habits to go unnoticed.
I love how everyone who loves Rockform phone holders never actually have their phone on it lol. They do look legit but have no sport bike option.
Great video yammie. Funniest motorcycle UA-cam video I’ve seen
I like this style of vid yam
That’s good was gonna get a trim due to a coworker but thank god for this useful video
My bf told me not to get a bike bc he knew people who died riding, I appreciate the concern but I’m not gonna knock it till I try it
U got the wrong boyfriend
Don't get a car either. Or ride the tram, subway, jet, bus, private helicopter, etc...
for an A1 license it seems like a good bike, I would go for a yzf r125 but it seems to sensible, whereas a grom is just a fun bike
Lol wish I could get something larger than 125cc on a CBT
I still have my 125 from when I was learning, and it's genuinely still just as much fun to ride as it was when I started. It's just a different kind of fun to a bike that does 0-60 in 3.5 seconds and doesn't get blown all over the road in the slightest wind! Switching between the two is a nightmare 😅😅😅
You've got it all ahead of you 👍👍👍
I feel you bro...
Enjoy the 125 years.. you'll miss it
Being on a CBT feels kinda like what I imagine the other type of CBT feels like
I don't miss being blown all over the place on the 125. When or normal bike just stays planted.
We totally get it they came out in 2014 we know there small but fun still a great in town bike for anyone under 200 pounds
Grom content is superior to all your other videos no lie
Would any of you say that the grom would be good for learning basic controls of a motorcycle I’m 5’5 130lb and plan to buy this bike because it’s not so fast and I lm only making short commutes
Y’a it’s one of the best bikes you can buy in that scenario.
Got a grom as my first bike. Being that I never rode motorcycle before. I very quickly out grew it and got a CBR600rr. The grom was a lot of fun but limiting like the video said. If I stunted I probably would of kept it
I like the Grom and I still wanna buy me one next year i don't really wanna go fast or get a bigger bike i just wanna play on the Grom/ two wheels
Try to buy a used Grom if you guys can, save yourself from dealer fees and you can find a low mileage grom for 3k or less. They’re super reliable and maintenance is relatively easy. In three months of ownership I put 2500 miles on mine. Also, forums are super helpful, read them.
Love the way you edit your videoes
But papa yam in sweden you have to 16 to drive a grom but 18 to drive a car or bike so i want to get one what do you think
Just got one. It’s my 14th motorbike. Also have a Rc51...I already know which one is going to be used more.
Well the Grom was my first bike, I had no problems until I want a bigger engine so I got a Honda CB 500F.
Ya know:
No bike is perfect.
You can't have just one bike.
except bicycle
You can definitely have just 1 bike lmao. I have many hobbies and it's so funny how everyone is like this in their hobby. With guns everyone thinks you need at least 10, fishing ppl think you need like minimum 5 poles and at least 2 filled tackle boxes, mtb biking you gotta have 3+, ect. Y'all should stop stock pilling one interest and explore other things
My first "real" motorcycle was a sixties Triumph 250 (full size) that I rebuilt (basket case). Less power, worse brakes, crappy electrics, et al. Tons of fun.
Anyone else feel like it's stupid calling any bike a "real" bike?
Sounds like you need a *real bike*

You bring up good points, but they are subjective. The grom was my first motorcycle and I can agree that it is fairly slow for highway use, but it definitely gets the job done. When it comes to weight, and throttle discipline, I agree that you can develop bad habits. Just dont rush anything when learning on a "real bike" like going 60 on a gas powered 2 wheeled vehicle isnt a "real bike"
Why would you compare a Grom against an MT03? 🤔
I’ve never had a motorcycle but I’ve had mad dirt bikes so I’m gonna geta Grom first probably. Or maybe a supermoto
To pile on to the clutch hate on these things, when I bought mine, I honestly thought something was wrong with it. The clutch never really feels like it's fully engaged.
I failed my permit skills test because I was on a Honda Grom and it would hit my knee it was the second skill check turning from a stop into a u turn
Please make a video again about the Husquarna Svartpilen 401. Can you do a Road trip with it, because of the vibration and Power ?
Well let’s say I am interested in having a bike but I know I will never commit to an actual bike, like I just want it to scoot around town and feel the air... I’m too scared/ uninterested to ever get a full size actual motorcycle but I’m still curious and want to have the fun a lil
Im 5ft6 you bet im gonna get this grom as my first bike and work my way up to a 390 duke after a year
