- Hi! ..was the title convincing? Before anyone say anything, this animation was 99% traced. I’ve always wanted to do anime OP mockup like this. I chose my old school favorite; Nadia.
Featuring season of abyss spirits and my friends’ skykids, with and without permission, and the birthday skykid (Mine! the chimesmith hair dude) He turns 1 year old today 🥳 Hooray!
This took around 4 months to make, but I picked the song long before that. Imagine my chills when an underwater season announced.

I watched Nadia, on VHS rented from the library, as a child growing up before anime was even a word in my vocabulary and the music hit me like a tidal wave. I can't think of a more fitting song or more beautiful animation to accompany it. Thank you so much for making this.
I considered myself lucky to have caught it re-air on TV as a kid. Makes me happy every time someone recognized this old gem. I created this as a love letter to sky as well as the show itself!
