I just bought one for $93. Should have shopped around

No need to break the bracket off. Just insert a thin screwdriver on the 3 wire side where the grey harness meets the black bracket and it will unclip it and slide right off. You can see a small long rectangle opening where to insert the screwdriver.

What was it doing to make you change the O2 sensor. My 94 is idling rough when I'm stopped at lights but when I'm driving it's perfectly fine.

Usually when you don't pass smog inspection, a bad O2 sensor is a common root cause.
