I love that you actually made it look like a Blue Dragon from the Monster Manual. So many fan artists just ditch the incredible dragon designs from WOTC.
I do have to say the designs that 3e came up with for different dragons was very inspired, especially the chromatic. They are distinct by more than color.
The Big "double" horn sells It for me, alongside the form of the head. Really well done.
Not to sound uncultured, but for half a second, in one of the frames, at 0:51 I thought that was an Alatreon from monster hunter.

as much as i enjoy hearing Matt describe the situation as the animatic plays out, there's something to be said for the animatics that remove all but the character voices as if it's an actual episode. creates a much more cinematic feel

This is amazing! I love that you didn't use the full audio recording, the visuals alone createdso much more tension than if you had paired them with the description
That moment when Fjord is either about to start fear-puking over everything, or he's already dropped a deuce the size of his head in his pants... or both.
oh my gosh, i remember watching this moment during the premiere and being so in awe of the dangerous energy matt was emanating. you really capture that here. thanks for sharing!

fjord's goofy ass expressions mixed with the tense atmosphere and the FUCKING DRAGON were SO GOOD THEY WERE SUCH A GREAT BUILDUP FOR THE FINAL LINES THAT WAS GOLD!!!

that was amazing!! fjord's expressions were perfect! you did so well with the suspense as fjord comes to in an unfamiliar place and then realizes it's a dragon's hoard; I was really captivated.
Absolutely gorgeous framing and composition. Every shot is just perfectly sinister and awesome, which makes the ending all the more hilarious. Great work!

I really enjoy the cinematic suspense and perspective that ends with Fjord unceremoniously squeaking out of fear and giving the most out of pocket response to a creature that could kill him in an instant. Really mirrors how Matt sets up the most intricate lore-filled settings and characters only for the cast to waltz in like 3 year olds and smash all of his lore vases in the most comedic way possible

I love that the artist kept the detail of the Double spire horn that is unique to blue dragons.

Storyboard Pro. It draws way different than photoshop so im still trying to get used to it. Student version is 10 bucks a month so definitely worth it if youre interested in trying it out

Grant Spears Storyboard Pro. I like the vector brushes and my coworker showed me how to do the timing in it. SBP is also pretty good because the student version (you don’t have to prove enrollment and it doesn’t expire) is $10 a month. Sooooooo as long as you don’t make money XD. But I like sketching in it more than photoshop because each drawing comes and goes really easily

It was a young Blue Dragon. No where near that large. Awesome work though.
