    The Saco is heavily stocked and it is pretty much a put-and-take fishery now. There are still big fish and holdovers to be had in the fly-fishing-only section, but floods in recent years have changed the structure and it is nowhere near as good as it used to be.

    Is that a Winston rod? A TMF maybe?

      Actually it's an old (2006) Orivs TLS - their mid-grade rod replaced by the Access and then the Recon. Still a trusty stick!

      @@scottlarochelle4601 i also have an older orvis superfine “Henry’s Fork I bought new in the early 90’s.

    Looks like a great day of fishing! If I may ask, what covered bridge is that and do you know of any other great spots on the Saco in North Conway?
