Another tip/chokepoint I forgot to mention is when they summon sera and use holutaea by discarding a trap card, being able to stop sera effect to summon from deck is huge since it can stop a lv 4 body from coming out and the ability to reset the trap they discarded (off dionaea). If they don't have arachnocampa/garden + extra traptrix they can't make a rank 4, so essentially the one ash blossom on sera can take away 3 things from the opponent.

Haha man thanks I wish I would have seen this before I went to locals last night I didn’t know I could get holeutna from sera’s effect that and I missed out on pinguculas effect alotttt I could have swiped a lot of key cards that where sent to my opps grave and stopped alot of cards popping off!
Hello Sir i am new to the game and bought my self traptrix on recommendation of a friend since he said its a good budget option. But my point is that i have the feeling that i always loose if i go blind 2nd any advice ?
The structure deck offers great going second options like evenly matched, kaijus and raigeki. You can also play cards like dark ruler no more or cheap going second cards like book of eclipse
Correct me if I'm wrong but I also want to add that Traptrix extra deck monsters has some conditions for them to be unaffected by trap card Xyz monsters need to have material while link monsters need to link summoned so they can still be affected by trap card if you special summon them from gy Also Rafflesia will be big on mirror match because she can activate trap hole as monster effect instead of trap
Yeah I believe I mentioned they're essentially unaffected, most of the time the xyzs will have material etc, but yes there are conditions on them being unaffected
I don’t own the cards. Thought about getting them because it’s supposed to be a fun deck. I want to know how they actually work before I do though in case I don’t actually like the style. So I look up a guide explaining how the deck works. You can’t properly explain the way a card works to someone if you don’t read them the card.

It can, it is a trap card
if you ash pudica they can go into the link 1 and continue combo.
