I'll actually mention that Skill Drain is not a good card in this deck, and actually I'd argue outside of anti spell, floodgates are not really good in this deck since you don't want to establish a board that just loses to super poly, and normal traps are more important to the strategy. You're already running shifter so you don't really need to run anything more oppressive than that.
2 months too late. I've won an OTS Tourney w/ Traptrix, however I relied HEAVILY on Rafflesia. In the vid, the player stated that he barely or never used her. I wonder what he was playing instead? Pinguicula then SS Pudica on opponent's' turn too suck up a monster? Redoer?
I've went back to traptrix after Raika came out and with Raika you don't want to play shifter and can just cook people, otk at the drop of a hat which is what the deck needed in my opinion. The last three weeks of locals I've went 2-1 twice, and 2-0-1 this week would have forced another round and went 3-0 and played for first against snake eye firekings if I would have just scooped game 2 against tenpai and didn't let us go into time
Hey, so I ran Prosp before but found that in this format, Prosp with the number of hand traps I run is not great. That and the extra deck is TIGHT, not a lot of room outside of Bagooska and Abyss Dweller to side out. Shade is in the side in scenarios post game 1 where I know what they're running and I'd often side out nib for it. The deck has opportunities for extension with the extra garden and searching dionnea, I'd rather see more non engine than extensions in this format anyways.
