@@mrander4147 Depends on the weapon, Snipers kill pretty easily. Rockets, swords, grenades, plasma pistol cheese, etc. Fully auto weapons are absolute trash against them, but then again they're garbage against overshields as well. So that's just how things be.

People haven't stopped playing the original trilogy since they've been released so I dont know why you would think that . Before the xbox 360 servers were shut off you could find matches in all the 360 games plus the master chief collection at the same time. So there was people on the 360 versions and the collection simultaneously. It's crazy that og series has lasted this long but it really says something about the trilogy. The master chief collection even though it had a rough start will keep these games alive for another 20 years. Halo 2 and 3 are masterpieces.
If nobody answered you on stream about halo wars 2 it didn’t do anything amazing for gameplay over 1 but it set some very good precedents for artistic design, story, and characters that signals good things for halo infinite
Dude halo reminds me so much of old shooters from the 90's. Well placed enemies in strategic locations. Weapons that have their own quirks, positives and negatives. Not many shooters like halo anymore.
Yes, it's sadly ironic since at the time when Halo came out people who played PC shooters like Quake 3 and UT laughed at how "dumbed down" it was with regenerating shields and only two weapon capacity. Now it is the only mainstream franchise that resembles those older shooters thanks to the gamemodes, level and weapon design.

Armor abilities were not too bad in my opinion. Also Reach introduced one of the most fun weapons in the franchise, the human grenade launcher. I think the thing that really killed Halo was 343's god-awful campaign design. Halo 4 was a gauntlet of bullet sponge after bullet sponge. The Forerunners were simply not at all enjoyable to fight; they could tank a million hits and then teleport away from you on top of all that. And then there were assist drones later on that shielded them if memory serves. It was incredibly tedious. Then 5 naturally butchered the story.
Ehh, it was good up to Season 13. Seasons 6-10 were a massive shift from the comedy machina it started as. 14 was basically a love letter to the series. Do not touch anything after that. Just don’t.

My older brother and I Co-op’d Halo 3 campaign on legendary too many years ago. Still the highlight of my life. I never let him forget I’m one who drove the warthog in the epic final level because he kept getting us killed. So happy to see/hear you play it

Whilst the Covenant were steamrolling earth they were getting their shit kicked in by the Banished who were rebelling against the racial inequality in the Covenant (mostly from the Brute's perspective). The Covenant doesn't exist after Halo 3 because it was completely and utterly destroyed. The 'Covenant' in the 343 games are a splinter faction of religious extremists still following the religion but from an Elite supremacist viewpoint (following the entire race war instigated by the prophets in Halo 2).

I really enjoyed most of red vs blue, though my enjoyment over time was definitely a bell curve. The show got funnier as the creators hit their stride, but slowly began to lean towards action and drama. The quality kept going up but I came for the humor.
Pffft any simpleton could do that... now imagine being a true gamer and hot-wiring a makeshift controller out of a couple of cables from Nintendo 64 Gamepads where you have to touch the exposed wires together at the right frequency to control Master Chief. Now that’s a _real_ challenge
