hi. I have a question that is not related to this video. Can you please guide me
what is "min shading rate"? ( in render setup)
and if we use 6 in "min shading rate", the number will be 36? 6^6=36
    Thanks.

How would I apply combine this with an opacity mask. So light shines through ONLY on a section of a model - I've made an opacity mask with the alpha, and I can get the translucency to work but when I combine the two, I lose 1 or the other. Trying with various combinations of 2 sided materials or a single material... I've one more idea though - to use a completely transparent mask (black?) for the part I want to have SSS. And then white for the part I want to be opaque. Aiming for translucent fruit skin, like lighting through a mandarin orange (and eventually i want to add a bioluminescent element to it but...baby steps)
Note* I'm going through a couple of your courses right now.

I never tried anything like that. Pretty much this tutorial is as deep as I ever dug into it so I think you’re already ahead of me here. Thanks for taking the courses, much appreciate it.

Does this method for producing an internal glow work for GEO that does not have thickness ?
