Even though i select progressive, Vray keeps rendering with buckets. I'm going nuts. I was rendering with progressive just a couple days ago without any issue. What am i doing wrong?

it really depends on your project. but if you're using V-ray you should care more about RAM and CPU than graphic card (if you're not using GPU for rendering).

Hi, sorry for the late response. It controls the number of rays shot for Anti-aliasing. I recommend keeping the min shading rate at 1 and 16 for the max to get the best/fastest result.
Yes . Before I was using Vray next. In that I rendered an exterior scene with medium preset setting and output size was HD 1920. I got the final out put in 1and half hour. Same scene I rendered in Vray 5 and it took 6 hours. I couldn’t find the problem. Same thing happening in interior scenes too.
I believe there could be several reasons. Please check your lighting setup and render setup. I have videos on my channel about these two subjects. please watch them in order to set yours correctly.
Hi, you can change it in V-Ray frame buffer tab. just click and hold on 50% to see the drop-down menu, then select the proper percentage from that list. Hope it helps :)
