Need to sort out the key issue. Thats a major hassle if someone is actually going to be using multiple mounts or products with that same wedge lock design with the locking cylinder. No one wants to carry around two extra keys on their keychain just to take their water tank on and off. Make the locking cylinder optional if someone wants to purchase it, but otherwise just use a cylinder that can be inserted and twisted with a folding tab or something similar. No one needs two locks on their rack mounted water tank that uses a proprietary mounting system to use.
I 100% believe in securing/locking externally mounted gear, but don't understand why you would ever have two different keys. Already have enough keys (rotopax, rooftop tent, etc...) If both were keyed the same that would be more practical. The lock is more of a deterrent anyways, we're not expecting an expert lock picker to steal your water.
Never heard of that product before! Cool video!

Just keep the keys in the glovebox. Would rather a locking design to avoid theft / piece of mind.
Awesome mounting design!
