- As said in my community post, ik i said i'd do GCN Mushroom Bridge first but for some reason I just had an urge to make this one lol
Also I didn't do the funny two-slightly-different-sounding-loops thing that the OG song does, it would make the music track unnecessarily long imo
however i did try to kinda blend the two together in a way, they were kinda subtle tho so its hard to tell
I also tried making the track seem more full, since I've seen some comments saying my remixes were too quiet or empty, lemme know if I fixed it or if it needs more work, and any other criticisms, I'm always glad to hear how I can improve :)

As happy as I am for Wii Rainbow Road fans (it’s a great track ngl), I do wish it was DS Rainbow Road that got in.
Another banger remake of a track severely forgotten despite it's fun. You really nail the mystical and wonderful vibes to it all.

@@fluffy64 I personally love how wild and curvy it is, really playing with the idea of wacky gravity, way before 8 and felt like the beginning of some of the truly wild rainbow road track layouts.
It felt properly untethered to reality, in the way that the camera often allowed you to get views of the wild roadways both before or after your drove on them, allowing you to appreciate the perspective of both in the moment driving where it looks normal and then after.

Having that little descending instrumental progression at 0:53 and 2:00 is so genius
At 0:05 there’s a synth that plays for a moment that I don’t know how to describe. Plucky? Either way, it’s a synth I associate heavily with Pokémon D/P/Pt’s OST. If your DS Rainbow Road has me naturally thinking about the DS, you’re doing a damn good job
That’s either a hammond organ or a synth making that kind of sound, and yes it absolutely shows up a lot in DPPt

GBA is definitely taking that spot, my hope is that the next game gets its own bcp, with ds rainbow road coming in about halfway through and finishing with gcn rainbow road

this is super dope! have you considered trying out any electric guitars in your remixes? i think that would fit in great during some of the melody sections to balance out the synths a bit

they could've easily done a rainbow cup considering the only rainbow roads not in the game were GBA, GCN, DS, and Wii. That would've been the best cup in the series but sadly it was not meant to be
