I have fished there since I was a kid, and never hooked onto anything bigger than a fiddler. Even though back in the day there was an albino catfish about 5+ pounds that used to swim with everyone at the beach lol

I used to love fishing there as a kid in the paddle boats they rented back in the day. I actually had about a 3-4 pound catfish that got off just as I was raising him out of the water and trying to get it on video. Thanks for sharing your comment about the albino!

@@maxspeedadventures I remember the paddle boats. Lots of fun back then.

They also have an awesome campground, high up so the mosquitos dont´bite.
Do you have any plans to fish Trago Lake?

We had planning to camp there but literally every camp site was full by 12 pm Saturday. We went to Cave thinking it would be full and we’d stay with a buddy, but the state park had 5 open. No plans for Trago, definitely doable, just a lot of other places I wanna see first. Planning Glendale soon.

Wisconsin cottages prevent lake access. Very poor fishing in Central Wisconsin."lake drawdowns"for maintenance kind of ruined the fishing. Five years ago you could catch over 100 bluegills. Now if you catch three or four a day it's a good day. 0 bullheads!

Wow that’s crazy for me to imagine. They’re literally everywhere here. I literally caught one in a ditch behind my job a few years back. They lived in a culvert.
