- Join Mushu from Mulan and a Disney animator for a fun-filled presentation of the animation process as together they illustrate-in an easy-to-understand way-the basics of creating animated characters and the importance of character development in Disney movies.
This show, as part of The Magic of Disney Animation, closed on July 12, 2015 at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

This. I remember this experience when I was 6. I remember Mushu and everything. It's been 12 years and i've been wondering what this thing I experienced was.
Wow Eddie Murphy really nailed the voice of Mushu so well
This is actually Mark Moseley, the guy who voices Mushu for Mulan 2, theme parks, commercials, video games, toys etc. Eddie Murphy only voiced him in the first movie.
Knowing it's Disney magic, I wonder how the cast members talk to the animation like that! Looks insane! o.o lol
its a lot of directing and stuff like that. (pretty much like when to do this and that)

Mushu is 100xs better than Timon. As a child Mushu is what made me want to see Mulan. lol I love dragons.
And Mulan is best Disney princess who exceeds past the title of princess. xD

Maybe they'll open a new Louis show in place of the old Mushu show (and I hope you know who I'm talking about).
@@BKDBrian2 in disney's animal kingdom rafiki's planet watch conversation station is getting a lion king overlay, they might gonna use that old mushu show, and reused it as a new show featuring Timon from the lion king, sprig from amphibia and pip the penguin from t.o.t.s and the footage it uses scenes from true life adventure films, disneynature films, bambi, the jungle book(1967 and 2016), the rescuers, the rescuers down under, the lion king, the lion king 2, the lion king 1 1/2, the lion guard, pocahontas, a bug's life, tarzan, dinosaur, finding nemo, finding dory, brother bear, brandy and mr whiskers, the good dinosaur, zootopia, moana, puppy dog pals amphibia and t.o.t.s
I never heard of Amphibia or Tots, but what about Louis the Alligator from The Princess and the Frog? He's my favorite 2000s Disney character of all.

I didn’t realize the Hollywood Studios version of this show lasted long enough to show a preview of Big Hero 6. The California Adventure version of the show was long replaced by the Drawing Tutorial by 2014
I remember wenting to this attraction months before it closed, this was pretty cool. Truly sad that they replaced it with a star wars café...

Well that's annoying. I'm actually really interested in both but original 2D disney movies will always beat 3D movies.
It wasn't drawing the crowds it did in its heyday when it was part of the actual working animation studios on the Florida property. After the studio was closed, it lost a big part of its draw and started to show its age. So Disney made the decision to replace it with Star Wars to capitalize on all the content they were making for that franchise.

Can you imagine if they were able to mix up which character got to be interacted with? Man, that woulda been nuts.
Aww man, they are just closing The Magic of Disney Animation since they are making numerous changes at Hollywood Studios today. As well as thinking CGI is the only thing being used in the animation industry. That's not true, 2D animation is still being used, but only for TV and home video today.
FanimationXV 2D animation is also being used for foreign animated films as well
Thanks to Toon Boom Harmony, they'll be able to add CAPS plugins for more up-to-date 2D animation.
thanks for recording this, im trying to figure out the movement of this character so replicate it to my own, technically they both have the same body type just not the personalities or designs. but thanks anyways, this kinda helped me and thanks to Disney also

I wish I could say yes but that's not Eddie Murphy. Person who was doing Eddie Murphy's character Mushu is actually voiced by Mark Moseley, he also did Mushu in the House of Mouse.

Damn, I went to Hollywood Studios for the first time in 2013 when this was still open and completely missed my chance. I would've totally geeked out when Chris Sanders appeared (I'm a big Lilo and Stitch fan)
I really loved the show and I wanted to stay and talk to musuh some Moore and if she picked Timon from the Lion king instead he would have been on the tv

Honestly, I think that by closing down this attraction, they were simply putting it out of it's misery. It just hasn't been the same ever since the fully functioning animation studio it used to be a tour of was closed down in 2005... Curse you, Eisner and Iger!

I'm pretty sure it was Mark. He pretty much does all of Mushu's post movie appearances.
