Difference between a World Cup quarter final team and a World Cup semi final one

Have to say England sold it to the ref on the day & that's what counts. Longer term a bad day for Genge as it highlighted his lack of scrummaging ability & he's been penalised constantly ever since.

If all the attacking side need to do is have their 3 push in and have everyone else force a wheel, there would never be a scrum completed ever. Or even better, just have your tight head refuse to pack down and get a penalty for it. The only one that you could really describe as dominant was #6, where they did break through the middle, although that scrum also features one of the most crooked feeds I can remember seeing, not just into the front rows' feet, as has become standard, but behind them. This ref really needs some training (and I say that as an Englishman).

Genge was boring in. This isn't domination. This is a referee not knowing the laws.
