This looks fun! It looks like if you can time the pistol whip slightly in front of where someone is running then it has a better chance of landing, whereas if you're behind them and they're running away then it doesn't hit fast enough to land.

@@Sindrener According to me, I previously had a 3-second cd. If they uploaded it, it was probably unplayable. It's a shame it was the only way to leave protection for the perma protee.
I just tried out the build I cannot believe that the clunkyest ability in this game Sword/Pistol 3 is useful paired with acrobatics. I totally forgot they actually did some work on acrobatics. Having the ability to remove condi on dodge changes the game for me
And what about taking the staff instead of the rifle? :) It's like the build is made for it with taking sword and staff power bonus spec traits and severance sigill on both sword and staff for +250 precision and ferocity on interuption. The 3rd staff comp is an interup that you can repeat a lot that's amazing!

Olders players should stop shamming it really, it simple works and its easy to play. Means a lot on thief where everything is complicate.
yeh almost all those fights was vs afk pep, speudo bots in torret mode and a 3v1 fight lmao prob the vs untamed and the snow leopard was the worth fight xD
When I first played guild wars, i chose thief because i mained assassin in gw1. I could only complete the pve story with Pistol Whip spam and Signet heal hahahaha
What originally killed pistol whip was the initiative cost increase as well as the changes to cast time. Now with upper hand you can upkeep initiative much better so it solves one of those issues
Right now I think core S/D is pretty decent considering the acrobatics buffs, I haven't played it myself but S/D Daredevil would most likely be good now as well :)

I feel like with your play time on the thief any build is viable lol. Tbh the hours you have on thief id literally expect nothing less. The muscle memory you have on that specific class. So as for your videos title kinda click bait especially for someone who’s been watching you since 1K followers.
I take most of that as a compliment, however this build does not require much muscle memory considering it mostly uses pistol whip spam which is one button. Yeah you need to be pretty precise with it, which will be easier for most players who play with low ping unlike me haha

that build s/p is preferably carried with absorption sigil since 90% of the time you steal 3 boons with the 3 sword when interrupting
The 10s icd makes absorption terrible over the other choices

Spellbreaker meta? Spellbreaker isn't meta, it's kited way too easily. Don't get me wrong sb isn't bad, but there are better roamers out there.

I've been playing sword dagger staff thief for like a year and it feels insanely good now with acrobatics buffs.

That side to side snake movement. Is that your dodge? How? Dodge skin, race dodge? I know yhe Asura Yoda jump to dodge.
It's daredevil dodge. U can change the type of dodge they do in their trait line
