people have been raving for 50 years about the 32 deuce 3 or 5 window,no, they're double slick, but this is a hot rod,in the weeds sob bad ass, nice car, lucky lucky
Yes! I shared the build photos to a pretty large channel that made a video about it. I can't remember the name of the channel, I believe it was taken down. Maybe one of these days i'll make my own slideshow and post it.
hey I love your car I'm in the middle of my project and Id like to use the same wheels and with whitewalls tires can you please tell me what size and more info about your wheels ?
Thank you! Honestly I wasn't impressed, however I've never driven a solid axle car prior to that. Nor have I sense. So I'm not a very good judge. If I would have it to do over to do again I would have put less caster in. Michael with that design was to keep the axle as close to the center of the car as possible for aesthetics. The shorter wheelbase didn't help with handling either... but I liked the way it looked :)
Mason Mattocks: Agreed, I like the short look. I’ve seen too many that get too long in the front. That may help the handling but I don’t care for the long look. With the elliptical front springs did you have to use a panhard bar for the front...or do the springs keep the axle from moving side to side? I also like how you shifted the motor back, but kept the sides of the front cowl.
Mason Mattocks: Did you need the 6” tall square tubing up front for the elliptical springs? Or was it more for looks? I was not sure if you needed the extra depth for the travel of the spring?
Thanks for the info I am working on a 29 model A sedan. Still trying to find the front wheels, I want to run all around. So far only 15 inch spares. Nice car and i know it was a labor of love. Good Job !
David Payne the rears are 20" steel spares with custom covers from mid 2000's dodge trucks and the fronts are 18" steel spares from 1990 something astro vans.
Looks nice but NO. The audio in this video is terrible. I need to see this car in action on the highway to give a thumbs up. A couple of 3mph rolls down the street won't cut it.
@@masonmattocks71 There was a series of videos on the build of this fantastic Hot Rod, from the time the body shell was bought home in the back of a pickup, and through all the design and fabrications of putting it all together, do you still own this beauty?
Love this build.
I love this mashup of styles and influences.
Wow !!! Beautiful !! Design well balanced !!
Very nice blue color
My dear, it is an awesome car, but I like the video clip in which you were building this car for you and your father
Traditional styling, but a lot of original details. Great build. Looks like an angry insect, LOL!
Looks like a safe well-engineered rod, not a rat.
nice blue color
Thanks! It's a color Ford used on their trucks recently.
what year was the roof from?
pretty pretty pretty
Beautiful car, good job
tymbom60 thank you!
Espetacular.
Holy crap.
What happened to the video of you building this car that was very inspiring and was helping me with ideas on mine
Wow.... Gnarley dude! To many details to highlight as AWESOME! So...removing that tank for motor space...very cool.
Boxcar's Garage thank you!

What part of America is that? Those houses are beautiful
Are you still active on here? I thought i seen a video on this car once that was a build video almost 20-30 min long

Too cool
That's bad ass
I would just make the frame higher so its not so low to the ground
where did you get the rear brake lights?
What kind of wheels are on this rod
which donor car provided that roof! Very nice
That's a real looker right there but I bet she wild and definitely not the kind you bring home to meet the family...I bet she gets down!

How do you like the performance of the front suspension? I like the concealed look of the elliptical springs. Great job!

@@1923ford no panhard bar needed.
@@1923ford yes, it was needed for the spring travel along with ride height adjustability.
What wheels are you running on the front?
Have you already sold it? I saw for sale on the back glass.
Yes, it's sold
It was one sweet build. I watched it on DIY Garage. Glade to to see another young okie building hot rods.
A lot of expendable money in this neighborhood.
Obviously lol
What was the donor vehicle for your roof panel and moon roof ? Thanks R L
Chevy Equinox or Pontiac Torrent - same skin

On the thumbnail I thought it was a toy 😂
Same I thought it was a hot wheels car
What wheels are you using on this?

now that I'm looking to build a Car, I can't find the build video on your incredible Hot Rod is it still available?
Hi, I am not aware of a build video of this car on UA-cam.

I do not still own it. I sold it back in 2017, not sure where it is now. There are a couple build photos on instagram @31sedan @@alexmontero3642
@@masonmattocks71 Hi Thanks for your reply, it; 's my fault I should have saved the videos,
