  • I take the Rusty Oliver 66 Row Crop out for a warmup on the Bush Hog (brush cutter) as well. Does a higher drawbar help it, or does it have a strong engine?

    This is pretty much my first time watching an Oliver at work, do they always sound like that? The engine sounds great, but the drive sounds kinda rough. Is it just the way the gears were cut on these? Or does this tractor need some extra love?

      You must be hearing the typical Oliver tranny whine. I’d have to listen to the video again to hear if it’s something you’re hearing that I’m not

      ⁠​⁠@@WisconsinOliverNutsounds like you had some sheet metal rattling or maybe the shield on the PTO shaft.

    cutting and recutting that thick stuff is a load on both machines.

      Yeah I think the piles of dead grass take more power than cutting the tall grass fresh
