Garchomp from paradox is my biggest undervalued card, should be the top card imo
I remember spending ages training up my Gible and then Gabite to get a Garchomp! Same with Dragonite, Haxorous, Salamence, Flygon, Hydreigon etc. Always had to train up the cool new dragon!!! Damn, I really need to replay those older games.
I think Paradox Rift as a whole is an undervalued set. The artwork is phenomenal imo and I love the Iron Valiant, Garchomp, Groudon and Steelix cards.
100% this is actually favorite S&V set! The art is incredible. The color scheme is so fun and bright. If you like synth wave music or neon lights this set is like a dream. It’s so good. Only cards I don’t like are the full art tera but I don’t like the Tera concept.
Great to see Salamence leading a set.
Very playable set too! Also possibly the cheapest of ALL sets!

They are. Every investment channel I'm subscribed to is talking about it, all the collectors channels I'm subscribed to like it. It's just too new to see any real growth. Give it another 18 months.

I Graded 2 iron valiants in a 10 and decided to hold on to one. The pink and green are really bright and really cool in person. I dig it.

Great takes on the undervalued cards. The only ones I would add are both the Swablu IR the Altaria SIR from P.R. - the SIR looks like a studio Ghibli movie poster, just stunning. They also tell the story of it growing up with winggulls which is neat.
The other Miraidon card to watch is the Pokemon Center exclusive promo. Beautiful card and not too expensive raw with a pretty decent PSA 10 margin.

Mark my words, for the current young generation, when they later earn money themselves, Paldea Evolved will be the Set that they will remember and which they will want to "buy back" like we often do with Kanto Pokemon. PE will be “THE SET"in 15 years. It's the set of their childhood with the Starters and Legendaries in one set!

that Groudon is a crazy card imo but Im building a moon themed display to match my moonbreons. the iron leaves, iron crown etc its a risk im willing to take I dont care if it drops. I might pick up more if they crater and lower average.

I like those green cards from Paldean as well. Would be cool if they did some popular Pokémon in that style. To be honest, I don’t think these newer Pokémon will ever dethrone the original 151. If the rest of S&V sets print more original Pokémon, it may make these earlier sets less sought after. Time will tell
I am back to Pokémon that fast after you told me that wasn’t a good deal I took that old P05 back and got my Magikarp my three Charizard from 151 and my iono SIR from Paldea evolved lol
The Mew ex shiny is so cheap because the pullrates for full art shinys are MUCH easier than for baby shinys because of the amount of the FA shinys compared to the baby shinys. Pidgey is so expensive because it's very playable in Charizard ex, the best deck in the current format
Ya I can see that but still... just seems low for a full art shiny mew to me. I have opened about 5 cases of Paldean Fates and only pulled a couple mews.
Any SAR that’s sub 20$ is definitely a good pickup. Even if in 5 years it’s gone to the 100$, that ain’t bad, especially if you pick up quite a few

Too much varians for me to invest into single cards, i usually if i can buy and flip them on facebook if possible. but not really been investing in any single cards yet. ill prob stick to sealed ^^

Listening to alot of people talk about the SV sets. Feels like this is the Illustration Rare ERA and alot of these could jump in the future.

Astral Radiance shows back in stock on Pokemon Center without a limit?!? Only other set without a limit is Battle Styles. Oddly Silver Tempest might be next to go as only set with a limit of 4 boxes instead of 6. I think the Pokemon Company plays into the fomo by changing sets to out of stock to get people talking and drive the demand then randomly bring them back to move stock quicker. I check PC multiple times daily and I watched the same for Chilling Reign and Fusion Strike both going out of stock for a week or so then randomly popping back in stock with increased demand until they do actually sell out or they start the process over again.
Ya it's very strange. The limit is actually 96 but might as well be no limit 🤣. I don't have an explanation for it other than maybe they brought them over the the UK PC?
@@NostalgiaNomics I’ve thought and hoped they would bring stock from UK as last I knew they still had Fusion and Chilling also. Guess we will never really know either way. All I know is Astral was the set I never looked at or thought about ordering any more until it “sold out”.

Gastly card seems like a card to watch. All 3 evolutions on one card! First time ever! Throw in a Meowth for good measure. Gengar is on this card. Last point, the print quality has issues. Very hard to find a well centered card as a collection piece or a card to grade. Im not saying to FOMO, just plan on getting a position in this card before the set rotates out.

All obsidian flames cards could have a really bad time in the future because the set is so small. The pull rates are so easy for those cards and what leads to many more copies an the market compared to illustration rares from other sets. I think that's why paldea evolved has such good prices across the board because there are 36 illustration rares in the set compared to obsidian flames 12 illus.
This is a good take. That is an issue and why I am so bullish on PE. Time will tell. Maybe it doesn't get a reprint somehow and the scarcity carries it...
A good alternative is just to buy Ruler of the Black Flame. Budget option if you just wanted a small position.

Truly, truly Pokémon is so undervalued! And people absolutely do not realize how undervalued it is! But that might change very soon.
Especially with the elites of this world Have made it public that they have put billions of dollars into the collectible space trading card sports cards included.
And I mean the faces of the people who truly run the world! Black rock, Jamie diamond Vanguard we’re talking tens of trillions of dollars these companies hold in some of these people own up to 20% of their net worth in collectibles their portfolio now.
There is truly a better chance of this world completely fall apart in Jesus coming back then there is that the collectible market as a whole, especially TCG’s with history and background and art like Pokémon like Dragon Ball like one piece. Not only are those three just trading card games they are TV shows and animations that have been going on for over 20 years in some shape or form. Pokémon has been a TCG for 20+ years and still going extremely strong.
RIP the creator of Dragon Ball just recently passed away due to cancer fairly young. But he was literally still creating manga for dragon Ball super he created the character Goku over 20 years ago and people have faithfully loved and followed the stories he created in the characters of dragon Ball and Dragon Ball super!
, the creator of Dragon Ball was also friends with the creator of one piece, which again the story of one piece has been going on for over 20 years and the original creator is still riding mana for his show.
There is generation of people who are invested in the shows, as they are in their own real lives because of how long they watched them and how much they have grown to the characters and storyline.
I use the example of Dragon Ball super in one piece specifically because The Dragon Ball TCG has only been out for around five years or 6 I think and up until recent when they came out with what’s called a god rare, their highest rarity was called a secret rare.
on average if you pull a secret rare which is two in every case of a good character, 150 to 200+ dollar raw, especially if it’s a Goku or Vegeta at the height and its bottom around $100 raw..
But as soon as they introduced, what is called the god rare a few years ago in the Realm of the gods set had the first god rare and it was the character Vegeta and that thing sold for $3000 raw dropped to a price of 1000 at its low a few years later it’s still about 1000+ raw around 15 to 1800 in a PSA 10 Was the last time I checked around six months ago.
And when the ultra instinct Goku dropped same thing between two to $3000. Piece Luffy guess what y’all $3500 raw.
There is still mountains of upside When it comes to Pokémon in the long term

Is raw singles investing really worth your time anyway? Seems like a whole lot of hassle for a little gain. Factoring in investment time, time to list, time to sell, I just think buying 10 at $10 a card vs a booster box money is better spent on a BB. 1 sale vs 10 sales if they even sale at a price worth your time.
Only if you want to also collect the cards. It's kind of like looking for a collection that will also appreciate but strictly financially I would stick to sealed.
