This was my first designer bag, I am obviously biased but I agree 100% ; I find it is classic and sophisticated; the leather is so nice and I got and still get lots of compliments when I wear it. She’s a keeper for me anyway😊

So, I thought I didn't have any interest in this bag for YEARS, because I'm just not a huge camera bag fan. However, I just finally bought it last month and I've hardly changed my bag since then! I even just bought my mom one! I am SO obsessed and I think it's so practical and carefree. Good news that other people find this bag dated, because maybe I can snag some other colors pre-loved hahaha

I have mine since 2016. Always stuff it whenever I am not using it, very careful with its tassles, too. Some wear on the cloth. Gold hardwear is still pristine condition! What a workhorse!

Looking to buy my wife her first luxury bag. She’s a mom of a toddler and 8 month old who doesn’t lean toward higher end stuff. I’m debating between this and the GG marmont small bag. I was leaning toward to Marmont, but she’s someone who isn’t used to walking around with a higher priced name on her side. This bag in black almost makes the emblem a little more subtle. Your review gives me confidence that it’s versatile enough to take to dinner or on a play date with the kids. Thanks for taking the time to put together an thorough and honest review!

Loooove this bag! I have it in both the red as well as this beautiful beige. I also have a couple similar camera bag style bags by other brands, Camera bags are a classic style that will never go out of style. And this one in particular is the perfect bag, great quality, simple yet elegant styling.

Hi :) just looking at reviews of this bag. Wanted to ask you if you had issue with colour transfer? Don’t know if I should get this light colour or not 😑 any advice would be amazing. I do wear lots of denim..
Hi Priscilla, my beige is a little over 2 years old, and my red is over 4 years old, and neither has any color transfer. Plus I wear jeans almost every day, and don’t baby these bags at all. But I spray them once or twice a year with Collinil Carbon Pro protectant. I get it on Amazon. As long as you use a good spray protectant, I think you will be safe from color transfer.
I try my best to examine, clean, condition and protect all my bags. I have alcohol free baby wipes on hand in case there is any small amount of color transfer on any of my bags, and for routine cleaning. I have white microfiber clothes and leather conditioner always on hand as well. I found everything on Amazon.

It’s so funny this video popped up today. Earlier today I was looking at some of my bags because I’m considering down sizing. So I grabbed my red Soho Disco which I’ve had for a few years and haven’t worn much recently and tried it on for a final look. It is still cute and so practical! So, I put it back into my save pile🤣

I have the Gucci Soho Disco bag in the same color as you...I love it, the only complaint I have is sometimes the bag gets twisted when try to grab it & causes the bag to hang upside down...other then that absolutely no problems

It's funny that you want to get rid of this bag however I have it too, and it's my go to bag when I am on holiday! Sight seeing, excursions, touring bag. I use it as my casual day, holiday bag. Great with maxi skirts, short skirts, denim shorts etc. I don't usually wear it around the city here in Dublin or anytime when I wear dark clothing. I don't think I would ever sell mine!

Have this bag about 4 years now in this colour. I love it and always reach for it because of the colour it goes with lots. Dress up or down. I do watch the inside like you said because of light lining. My sister got in red last year as Birthday present. I wanted the red but at the time I was buying it Brown Thomas they were sold out in red so went for beige. Great video as always Viv x

I’ve got the large soho disco in an off white colour with champagne hardware with chain strap and I absolutely LOVE it, such an easy bag, fits loads in, amazing quality! Can be warn mainly as a shoulder bag but the chain is long enough to wear crossbody if i need both hands etc. Couldn’t fault it at all. I know this isn’t the most popular bag anymore, but its pretty understated and such good quality, I am definitely considering getting one of the smaller sizes. Thank you for the review xx

However, down the road , I possibly might consider getting it and a bag organizer for it to prolong the interior . . . . Your review & pros and cons made me reconsider this bag to add to my collection . . .

I was thinking about adding a red bag in my collection to have a pop of colour since I own only neutrals. At the beginning I didn't really like the soho disco, expecially for the soft structure and the tassel.. but lately I've noticed here on youtube that the bag, if stuffed, hold it's shape ( and I really baby my bag ) and 1) i love camera bag and 2) i couldn't found a red's shade that i love more than the gucci one. Long story short: I started to want this bag! But still I wans't sold bc of the price ( being a red bag I just Knew I wouln't get the wear out of it for that price point ) ... well well, I found one, red, never used for almost 30% off on VC.. jackpot!!

My personal experience with it: only two cons. First, it loses shape, which to me is a bummer and, second, it costs too much for what it is. Otherwise, I LOVE it. What a practical, ultra-versatile piece. There's no outfit that clashes with it. I was thinking of selling this bag, so I wore it all week and I'll absolutely, definitely hang on to it. Honestly, I can easily see me wearing this when I'm a- possibly slightly eccentric- old lady.

I am starting out a luxury collection. I have the Neverfull and love it. I am looking for an everyday crossbody. I love the look of the disco bag. I’m also considering the pochette Métis. If you could recommend a everyday crossbody would you recommend the pochette Métis or Gucci soho disco bag in rose beige? I want something that will be in style for years to come and is practical.
Hi Elizabeth, I love the Pochette Metis, but if you are afraid of vachetta getting ruined I would go with soho disco, I don’t really like taking PM out in the rain for that reason, but you could also go with the reverse , hope this helps 🥰
