A banger of a song, heavy, hard core, and surprisingly innocent as it’s about a water slide. Water slides are fun, I remember one when I was at six flags. Surely no other interpretation of what this song can actually mean and certain not one you need to go on a murder rampage for!
I know we have Black Sabbath as the pioneers of their genre, but I truly feel that Helter Skelter is the first Metal song ever made… and by The Beatles which is a shocker! PS: It’s a “cult” classic, pun intended.
If anything it was inspired by Pete's comment on his own song, apparently Paul didn't even hear I Can See For Miles and they just ended doing something wildly different.
I love the way Ringo screams like he's really mad at Paul for having written such a hardcore song causing him pain in his hands, but no one even cares even though he is screaming very loud literally right there in such a small room. Paul is even like, "ok... whatever... what's the next song?..."
What can I say about "Helter Skelter" The most rock and metal that Paul McCartney has done in the White Album ^^, 🎸🥁 McCartney had the idea for the theme after reading in the press that The Who had published an extremely wild and strident song, with screams and a lot of echo, it was the song "I Can See For Miles". McCartney, eager to explore all aspects of rock, decided to write something that fit the description, besting the Who on their own ground if possible. - Many critics and fans have assured that "Helter Skelter" is the precursor of Heavy Metal. - The bad, because of the infamous "Charles Manson" the song was overshadowed by Manson's crimes, something that shocked Paul.
If I read correctly, The Beatles wrote this song in response to The Who's "I Can See For Miles." I guess loudness wars went back longer than I thought!
Two questions: 1. Where can I find these stems? 2. How do they make these Rock Band/Guitar Hero versions of songs, because there are songs (like this one) that have alternate endings, and instruments you don't hear in the original versions.
Hey, it's the song where I got the name for my Rock Band 2 band! Though they often play the Mötley Crüe version of this song and not the original. Can anybody make a custom of that version?
ok screw both strings charts for this song. this was the last song i needed to get gold stars on, and i just opted to go for vox. great song though. shame that a certain someone who listened to this song led a cult
Man, I remembered playing this song first and was blown away. Felt like it could fit in any Rock Band game.

A helter skelter isn't a water slide, but the sentiment is all the same. Peace from New Zealand ✌️
@ManQ_ you really misunderstood the joke.
_"I got blisters on my fingers!"_
- Ringo Starr, 1968
Ringo’s blisters can’t compare to yours having strummed your way through the whole Guitar Hero/Rock Band series…

Ringo: I GOT BLISTERS ON MY FINGERS!!
The Beatles (John, Paul, George): O_O + O.O + ._.
I know we have Black Sabbath as the pioneers of their genre, but I truly feel that Helter Skelter is the first Metal song ever made… and by The Beatles which is a shocker!

I love how this song was inspired by I Can See For Miles
And Paul make a First song as a Heavy Metal + Proto Punk

One of the takes for this was 27 minutes

Best song in the entire game by far.

Yeah Paul wrote the song because he "knew he could write something heavier than The Who"
4:27 When you try to play fingerstyle guitar with steel strings instead of nylon.
La canción que suena cuando literal aplastas el botón verde en el menú principal jajaja
El nacimiento del Heavy Metal
I GOT BLISTERS ON MY FINGERS!!!!

Oh yeah that is a banger
Is it me or is 3:04 undercharted?
It has to be. That part is always awkward.
Yeah, he's even playing It faster in the animation
If this was RB3 that would be a strum lane
The drum rolls at the end are reduced in basically the same way. Each double-stroke was charted as a single-stroke.

1- They had one?
2- Sure mate, althrough you dont mind having to convert it to rb2 format yourself? As i dont know how to do it unfortunatly.
I GOT BLISTERS ON MY FINGERS
Kinda hard to tell, even though you're playing as George, but Paul's strum timing seems to sync up with him more than George around 1:34
I GOT BLISTERS ON MY FINGERS!!!!
-Probably ROXS after beating every DLC and main setlist on GH
@0:07 black and white screen?

Probably the only Beatles song I really don't like. I do not know why but I really don't like that song
