I am fairly certain my first exposure to Melevsreef was your clown slide video, 7-8 years ago. It was such a great introduction and I knew immediately this would be a source of entertaining content and informative without being overwhelming. All these years later it has been a joy watching your endeavors. With all the resources you shared it has allowed many, including myself to get the nerve and jump into keeping reefs of our own. It has been nice to have not only success shared but the problems and failures. Then the follow up of what you did and how you bounced back. It helps ground things and paint the reality of what keeping a reef is going to be like. The glory and the gory. Things can change fast for the worse in a reef and corrections tend to be a long balancing act to get back to homeostasis. So it is nice knowing and having someone to share experiences with. Congrats on 9 years with the reef and the current lush state of the livestock!
Hey there “Keep it Calm”😅 Nice shirt! Fish Tank Hobbyist here. Just wanted to say thanks for all the content and really appreciate all your advice over the years. I tune in on the regular.
Hi Marc. My Achilles needs more flow than is available in your box. Needs bigger holes. I have everyone in my tank for now, but if I order a peacemaker the holes will be requested to be larger :). Beautiful fish, Mr Cole and Yellow Zebrasoma will regret getting on Archie’s “bad side “ some day. I’ve had mine for 1.5 years, he doesn’t like the Powder Blue I added a few months in. I have a 96” peninsula with 4 MP60. I put them on reef crest and 100%
I might have a cool trick to get Spock to eat. I use red sea reef energy ab+ . (The glowing yellow stuff). I use it as a food soak. Defrost what you want him to eat in it. And feed with only the reef brites on. The food glows. I often feed too late and I was having trouble getting my fish to eat all the food. so I started doing this.
I kinda glad I don’t have my reef tank yet Mr Marc! I don’t think there been power outages at my house for more than a couple minutes in 5-10years, but yesterday had lots storms here and just this morning we have had power out so far for maybe 2 hours, I don’t think power will be back till at least a few more hours, but maybe not till tomorrow (lots of tree branches down and even saw a power line down across the road yesterday) lots of work for the emergency crews
I have to continue watching the full video, but do you speak on your lighting schedule for the Neptune Sky’s. I have a 1200 Cade reef aquarium with 2 Sky’s above with the Ecotech RMAs holding them above. I’ve had good growth and I just ordered a par meter but I see you have great success, I’d love to message you and see if I can trial out your light schedule even if I have to acclimate my corals to it. Hope this comment gets to you. Thank you for all the information
Mr Marc! Mr Parker on Parker reef just put video out today also about a grazing tablet that stick to the glass, I wonder if it be good for Spock to eat coz it’ll stay in the spot u put it and she can eat as much as she wants? Just a sec, I’ll go back to his video and get a brand name for u 🥰🐶

If you want larger holes, I'll do it. But it will limit the fish you can put in there in future sessions.
Pink scribbles! 👌🔥🔥🥰🐶

Hey marc. Check the ×1 kamor tubing. See if that will fit your unit. Been 2 years still have the orginal tube, no problems yet
