Ridgid is killing it, in my opinion. Decent tool line, LSA, upgraded batteries, and out competing top tools quite a bit. My drill and impact, which are the 219 kit, have out lasted 2 fuel kits. Granted slightly heavier work on the fuels. I've used the ridgid as beaters, though, and they keep ticking.
Wanted to follow up and ask about opinions about the ridgid rear handle vs the milwaukee? Just bought the milwaukee for 300 after taxes bare tool. Tempted to trade for the ridgid plus the battery.
Hard work is good. the problem is now they tax and regulate so much that hard work pays so much less. Not working and stealing is easier these days. Why bust your butt so they can flood the country with people with no work skills give them money and then also fund wars in other countries why we have our own problems. I pray we can fix the dream.

Thanks again for genuinely caring about what tool are in our hands if it's junk you say so and no paid advertisement from competitors from tool company's like the other channels.

at 12 minutes in, you started on the DeWalt battery, and asked for our opinion. So, the way it looks to me, they have been aggressively marketing the Powerstack batteries and yes, discounting the higher ah XR batteries. I believe they are trying to go more into the stacked lithium tech, but I do not think they are going to just stop with the older system. It makes more sense in terms of profits to keep having multi tiered pricing options. As they get more into the Powerstack line contractors will pay more money for those higher end batteries. Hobbymen and DIYers however might be more interested in buying XR batteries over the standard cheapest ones. Simply because a consumer will look at it on a grade. If the standard 5ah battery costs $49.99, the XR is $99.99, and the Powerstack is $159.99, more people are gonna stick in the mod-range because they want the signature DeWalt quality, so when the previous top tier battery becomes mid tier then they want to have that one. Just what I see.

@VCGConstruction Vince you need to double-check your facts on those two Ridgid tool combo kits. Those are not the same tools in those two kits neither of them the hammer drill or the impact driver are the same as in the other kit. The 219 kit is their regular hammer drill and their three mode impact driver. The 349 kit is their high torque hammer drill and a 4 mode impact driver they are completely different tools. The difference being in the hammer drills one has 800 inch pounds of torque the other over 1200 inch pounds of torque, and in the impact drivers the difference is 2300 inch pounds of torque with only three speeds versus 2400 inch pounds of torque with three speeds plus a self-tapping mode.

@@VCGConstruction no worries and I wasn't trying to critique your good work which you do a lot of I just wanted to make sure the subscribers are getting the best accurate information possible because that's a significant difference especially between the hammer drills we're talking like 400 inch pounds of torque difference. What do they say, that's a lot of lettuce. Lol And it is really confusing because Ridgid doesn't necessarily do the best job at marketing I didn't even know they came out with a new impact driver until I was looking at pictures and noticed a slight difference in the shape of the front of the impact and investigated
