exactly it seems BJP government also cant shake off the socialist sheen of past 75 years, look at them all, they do the front side polishing with policies and make "reforms" half baked without depth on the inside. While congress does mass appeasement these BJP jokers do it in piece meal fashion. They are scared if they dont become socialist they wont win elections because 80% poor folks in India wont vote for them lol ... truth is India was a socialist country 75 years back run on ideological and British bureaucratic left over mechanisms and today it is the same as well. To grow and compete on a global level India needs scale and speed but policy making in India will always be myopic and short term but yes the koolaid of 2047 will be run on PR and many will drink that koolaid. Piyush Goyal is not an aberration he exemplifies Modi himself who is also at heart a socialist.
