If you substitute the pasta for rice (in the first recipe), you have the Japanese dish, Doria. I top it with an eggplant ragu, rather than a bolognese This could also be a gluten dree option for people :)
Love when you stuff noodles in your mouth and do a close-up with some still sticking out! 🤣😂You are awesome! 🤩 I would love to go on one of your vegan tours someday!
So I saw during my last grocery trip at Aldi here in MI, US, a tofu brick was only $1.65 and I was in disbelief. I've NEVER seen it so cheap and thought of you and Daniel talking about tofu prices from the podcast. So it's cheaper than ever to have meat-alternative protein, especially when it seems grocery prices just keep climbing!!
that's so cheap! yeah even though tofu has gone up in price, it's still cheaper than meat so I'll never understand when people say vegan food is expensive lol
My sister showed me a really delicious dessert with greek yoghurt! Just mix greek youghurt with powdered sugar, lemon juice and zest, and chunks of chocolate. It's sooo addictive!!
Ooo must try your alfredo recipe!!!! Thanks for sharing, guess I missed that on previous videos. My mom used to make big batches of spaghetti n make lasagna out of it with the leftovers! 😍😍😍 yum!!! At first that’s what I thought the video was showing :P
Great recipes. Thanks for sharing. With that said I would double the cashew sauce for the baked spaghetti; the dish looked a bit dry. But that's just me. ^_^
I keep meaning to try the alfredo sauce... but whenever I buy cashews, I usually eat them before I cook with them! I think I saw someone use butter beans in a similar fashion, which I might do in a pinch! Thanks for the recipes!
I’ve been buying bags of Yupik cashew pieces on Amazon for this - they’re a bit cheaper than cashews at the store and because they’re pieces and not seasoned we are less inclined to snack on them. Also nice to have on hand for easy toasting and serving on top of stir fries and etc. I store them at the back of the fridge, which helps to keep them fresh but also less likely to get munched.
I had this awesome recipe for white bean Alfredo and I lost the recipe 😮. My boyfriend at the time couldn't believe it was vegan.. he would lick the pan!!!😊
There are tofu brands that are made from pumpkin seeds it called pumfu, and there are chick pea based tofu as well. Whole foods brand makes it, and a company called Franklin Farms. That can be easily substituted for soy tofu.
If you are interested in making a naturally carbonated "soda," i recently came across something called a "Ginger Bug", just with ginger and sugar, (though i think you can make these things without ginger and just use fruit...i forget why they wanted to use Ginger, and i guess any type of sugar), and you let it ferment and it starts developing natural carbonation, probably similar to Kombucha, but you don't need mushrooms...i don't know how long they keep their ginger bug going, but it seems like a long time...The first week, it looks like you need to add more ginger and sugar each day to keep feeding it, then after you put it in the fridge, maybe once a week, though i'm not sure...Seems like it would be good to start a new batch occasionally...You don't NEED to use Ginger, i don't think, i think you can use fruits as well...i wish i had known of these particular techniques a long time ago...If you put it in a bottle with an air-tight lid, you have to open the bottle every 8-12 hours, initially, for maybe 5 seconds or more, so the bottle doesn't explode, then put the lid back on...Though you might want to start with Number 4, as it is the easiest one, which takes less time, and she may not have used ginger, maybe only fruit, sugar, a few raisins, and a few very tiny pieces of sourdough bread, and it takes 24 hours, and you can use any fruit, and you may be able to use any yeast bread, though, not sure...That technique is called "Kvass," so you could always look up more recipes on Kvass, if you want...Number 4 seems the simplest and less time consuming...🐦💗🐦 1 ~ GINGER BUG 🍏~ ua-cam.com/video/wtb1BvRUWmI/v-deo.html 2 ~ ORANGE CREAM SODA 🍊~ (ALSO, CHECK OUT THEIR CHANNEL FOR OTHER SODAS) ~ ua-cam.com/video/zzBW0MTzA9s3/v-deo.html 3 ~ GINGER BUG SUNSHINE SODA 🌟~ ua-cam.com/video/s_ljkk1RI40/v-deo.html 4 ~ STRAWBERRY SODA (KVASS) 🍓~ this takes a shorter time, like 24 hours and you use a few tiny pieces of sourdough bread and raisins to ferment it, and you can make it any flavor......ua-cam.com/video/3_ruLHlj1Q4/v-deo.html&si=EfW_ycCx0F7q3Wak&fbclid=IwAR3fUKngIA16YmoXrsiMFQ4KWiIjpYyUNPWo-pVteAmyl1bxiSg-vyicZv4
LOL some of the videos were filmed before when I had long hair and I'm still uploading them and I chopped off my hair since then, so now I have short hair!
For the first recipe, I Can’t do nuts, any other option you could think of? I mean I know you have a tofu ricotta recipe, but that might not be creamy enough? And for that yogurt recipe, think we could get away with powdered peanut butter? Cool video. ❤
If you want to use a healthier meat alternative but still keep it “lazy”, Amy’s brand Sonoma burgers are amazing. They’re entirely organic and made of quinoa, mushrooms, walnuts, oats, and other assorted vegetables. I used it in a bolognese sauce recently and it was delicious!! 💚
I have found numerous disgusting things while eating Amy's unfortunately, and I may have ever been the only one, but I swallowed a band-aid, and bit into a bunch of pubic hair type hairs, all in one spot, in their pizza, so I stopped buying their stuff. 🌿

you could also probably use something like 'just egg' (which is a vegan brand of egg substitute) and fry that up and add it instead. But that is a more expensive route.

Very helpful Rose, as I'm too old for the old TikTok. But I don't want to miss a good vegan recipe. 🤠
hahaha glad this helped! thanks for watching
I love watching you! So full of energy and....great recipes!
thank you so much
Those recipes look really tasty, I totally get why they are going viral - thanks for veganising them for us!
thank you for watching!!
"Obviously we are not using eggs" I was thinking you were going to tell us that obviously we are not putting drugs in the recipe.
HAHAHA
Me too

I’ve been buying their tofu the last couple of months. So cheap!

I live in MD and h mart usually has tofu for 1.49 a block!
@@Looksthatkaleyou live in MD? I do too. Know of any good vegan places to eat?
Wow that so cheap. I live in Illinois and our Aldi doesn't have tofu. I wish they did.

You and your sister have horrible taste, obviously.
I love the proper taste tests you do. Reminds me of when I cook hehe ❤

i actually lowered the amount of pasta in the written recipe so it'll be less dry!
@@CheapLazyVegan That's helpful, thank-you! Thanks again for the video; I quite like your recipes and I shall be making this soon.
Must try the Vegan Mayak Eggs!!! Looks delish
it's so good!!

I keep meaning to try the alfredo sauce... but whenever I buy cashews, I usually eat them before I cook with them! I think I saw someone use butter beans in a similar fashion, which I might do in a pinch! Thanks for the recipes!
hahaha that's a tough problem! I don't blame you, cashews are delish!!! hope you try it one day though, it's so good!

I can’t do nut yeast, I wonder if a dash of coconut aminos would work
I'd be interested in seeing you do a video on vegan cooking (with enough protein) for those of us who are allergic to soy!
There are tofu brands that are made from pumpkin seeds it called pumfu, and there are chick pea based tofu as well. Whole foods brand makes it, and a company called Franklin Farms. That can be easily substituted for soy tofu.

Can’t wait to try these, especially the second dish, which I am affectionately calling “Drunk Thief.”
Thx for your videos I love soooo much I hope it will never ends 😍😍😍😍😍
@CheapLazyVegan please I am begging you to do more of these those recipes literally have my stomach growling
I always use TVP in my bolognese! I recommend
Awesome sauce!!!
I used broken rice for the first time with a veggie stir-fry. Yum! Didn’t realize the different mouth feel of it.
have you tried alfredo sauce with beans instead of cashews? I bet white beans would do great!
i don't know if i've tried - i'm sure it'll be delicious! I just love the flavour of the cashew sauce so much
have done half half and its goooood. still taste the cashews but less cost/fat.👍
Love the recipes 😋
these recipes are DELICIOUS!
Is the rice hot & sauce cold or both cold ?

Hi CLV. I have a ?. Can we use spaghetti squash as a substitute for spaghetti?😊
I'm sure you could!!! :)
Thank you very much. Now let me get to cooking 😋
Thanks for sharing. Love your video's. Question I watch you some times you have long hair and then short?
LOL some of the videos were filmed before when I had long hair and I'm still uploading them and I chopped off my hair since then, so now I have short hair!
I can't wait to try these and make them more allergy friendly for my family. I hope I'm successful. I got so hungry watching this. 😂😂
I think raspberry jam would be amazing as the sweetener in the dessert. This could be dangerous!
Hahaha so yummy!!
I wonder if black salt would work with the avocado? 🤔
Oo maybe!!! That’s a good idea

You could definitely sub it out with silken tofu!
I personally think raw sunflower seeds are the best nut sub for anything creamy!
Omg i made the drug eggs omg that is sooooooo good im gone make it again easy and tasty to jummie
Yummy

Amy’s abuses their workers. Not just a little.
