- Eyal Levi takes you on a guided tour of the raw multi-tracks for "Can't Kick Up The Roots" by Neck Deep. It was originally recorded and mixed by Andrew Wade and appears on their 2015 album "Life's Not Out To Get You."
This is a beautiful pop punk session with lots of great details to absorb, especially Andrew's trademark arrangement elements like claps, stomps, and vocal layers.

Who's a Neck Deep fan??
"Fok Neck Deep m8, they're shit"....but on a serious note, ME
Andrew Wade is a beast, I literally fell in love with the mix first. Also big fan of ND.
Me
I always thought they pitch correct his vocals a bit too hard before the mix 😅 but i love them and i consider myself a fan, they have cool songs
I really don't think there's any other way to say it, this song just kicks ass!
Danny it's such a good drummer
I’d love a the wonder years session if that’s at all possible
Amazing raw drum tracks, that roomy sound felt like a Brendan O' Brien record, it didn't need any samples in my opinion, everything was super smooth and clear.
But it still sounded great with them, this record is killer.
andrew's kitchen is suprisingly awesome
Hello ! Amazing video !
Do you know if the DI are reamped or just digitally processed in the final mix ? Also, what technique would you recommend ? Thank you !
