Nice review Derek! I think these guys are his current trio. Stefano India on bass and Giuseppe Bruno on drums. I went to see him on the Bridge Festival in the Netherlands and expected to see him with these guys. But he was with Ricardo Oliva on bass and Gianluca Pellerito on drums. Both of them are in the band Fool Arcana lead by Ricardo and Cecilia Barra Caracciolo. Of course Matteo is on some tracks. The concert was great and they were having a lot of fun. :D
Hi, Matteo said:" Hi Guys! I'm back with another tune of mine called "Paul Position". I wrote it some days after receiving this wonderful Baritone Guitar from Bacci. I apologize in advance for the poor video quality but I recorded it years ago when we couldn't see each other in person. If you are wondering why it's called "Paul Position" it's because I was inspired by one my favourite players, Mr. Paul Gilbert! You may recognize some of his signature licks on the solo section ;) Don't forget to leave a like and subscribe!"
Bacci guitars makes his baritone. "Paul Position" - the Paul is Matteo's reference to Paul Gilbert. Different rhythm section than his NAMM/world touring band (Not Riccardo & Gianluca) Stefano India - Bass Giuseppe Bruno - Drums
My favourite so far i realise only now there is no tapping. Not a huge fan of tapping unless is basic tapping (john mayer, jeff beck) I'm a huge fan but his tapping sections are so long and clean that they give me a keyboard vibe But again , huge fan😊
What a great Musician he is!!
A monster
My of the greats already.
Love his playing. Also, that damn bassist is holding it down so tight.

I agree on points, I’m not huge fan of tapping myself.
Bacci guitar baritone for sure look at third pikup in the midle only on 3 cord for bass sound
Thank you.
Brano spaziale, forse la più bella composizione fino ad oggi fatta dal genio 😁
