What’s the wait right now on a school
I just stopped by the office today for enlisting. recruiter said it's very new so he has no info about it. I'm really curious
Good day! Currently the majority of the rating is lateral transfers from existing USCG ratings. Once the workforce is stabilized, the A-School will operate much the same as USCG Public Affairs Specialists and the Divers, as we will send students to a DOD training school when openings are projected. Unlike the PA and DV ratings, there are two DOD schools, the Joint Cyber Analytics Course and the Army Cyber Operations Specialist Course, both of which will allow our members to acquire their needed training.
As such, timelines are very much in flux.

I'm currently thinking to enlist for cyber mission specialist. but. are you saying that it will be hard to go for cyber missiom cpecialist as a new sailor because the priorities are given to existing members? sorry for bothering! I know you guyd are usually very busy! But it just worries me to hear cyber will be similar to PA although it will have two schools because my recruiter last time told me that PA is currently closed. In reference to the Titan submersible, someone needs to check for other frequencies and magnetic fields. If i was down there, i would be breaking apart the laptop and using parts of the speakers and microphone to create a sound loop/ or other frequencies by using the conductivity of the carbon fiber hull.
