I’m not sure if you’re reading comments but the recording function for audio only records your environment and not media played from your computer. Do you have a fix for that? I want to capture the audio from my computer not just the visual
Sorry for my delayed response. You'd have to use something else. PowerPoint isn't built to be a screen recorder so it doesn't have all of the bells and whistles you'd want it to have. Try using Loom the paid version allows you to record the system audio separate and apart from your microphone which would pick up environment noise.
I understand because I have the same problem with my Lenovo All-in-1 Windows OS 10 where I can't get the audio from the browser to be recorded in the screen recording. HOWEVER, On my work computer, which is a Dell tablet/PC 2-in-1 Windows OS 10 Professional, and I use the powerpoint screen recording feature and I CAN get BOTH audio and video when I'm recording a Zoom or Teams call that is being played live in my browser. I use MS Edge as my browser, but that shouldn't make any difference. You should be able to record both audio and video, I guess it depends on your computer, which doesn't make sense to me. IT should work regardless if you are using the same OS and the same version of O365 powerpoint.
and I'm not using an external microphone on my work computer, it's the system microphone that is capturing the audio FROM The Browser. So it is possible that powerpoint SHOULD record the audio along with the video.
I am trying to record a webinar that is set to expire soon, no matter what is not coming with the sound. If I talk it will record me talking but is not recording the screening presentation.
Hello please I need help! I just did a screen recording on PowerPoint during a presentation while using a headset. When I did a playback I could only hear myself the other person' audio was too low now I missed everything they were saying I can only watch the video. Please how do I fix this?

Sorry for my delayed response. I don’t know of a way to retrieve sound after a recording.
how can we record live meetings in teams with audio and video and no pre download available, How can we do that.
*This is untrue. PowerPoint actual records your environment, not the video that is being screen recorded.*
