- After dentist couple Nupur and Rajesh Talwar were found innocent of murdering their only child Aarushi and their domestic help, Hemraj, the man who headed the CBI for a key part of the investigation told NDTV, "There were loopholes in our investigation." However, AP Singh added, "The court has not said they are innocent, it has said it is giving them the benefit of the doubt."

The cops weren't called immediately, and by the time they reached, the crime scene was already contaminated. That being said, the cops did a really horrible job of securing whatever evidence they could. Overall, the whole case was messed up from the start. Too many people contaminated the scene before the cops could reach and the poor, poor work done by the police after they finally reached, ruined the whole thing.

On a serious note, no matter how big you become, your karma will get to you. It needs no evidence, and there won't be any trial. May be everyone will not get to know about the verdict, but the doer will certainly know it.
Not rocket science. It is common sense that the parents did it for whatever reason they know it all. They never showed urgency or begged the authorities for a thorough investigation, messed up the crime scene, hesitated to give keys to roof, never showed any emotion of losing their daughter and many other points. Also why would an outsider take the pain/efforts to drag and hide Hemraj’s body on roof and lock it. It was obviously the father assisted by mother. These murders could not be work of just 1 individual. Seems like the couple’s master plan was to dispose off Hemraj’s body so no one can find it. Then send the investigators on a never ending wild-goose chase in search of Hemraj as Aarushi’s killer.

Parents have been acquitted not because they are innocent. They have been acquitted because the guilt cannot be proven. There are enough evidences but if the they cannot be proved and are not acceptable to the court, nothing can be done. This case will be closed soon because clearly the parents don't care who killed their daughter anymore, it has been way too long. My heart just cries for the innocent child who was killed so many years ago.
And still they are trying to lead a normal life.. Their guilt has not consumed them.. Had it been any other parents the would have committed suicide l9ng back.. What is life living without the child u bore with ivf after 5 yrs of trying.. No purpose in living such a life..

Sushant Singh's autopsy says no sign of struggle...and no suspicious chemical found in body. It's very much possible that he committed suicide. Unlike Arushi's case, SSR's brother-in-law is an ADGP and knows Prambir Singh well. Just because someone was intelligent and did not leave a note...doesn't mean he wouldn't commit suicide. Again, this case should be probed by CBI...and we'll know the truth.

I don't think Hemraj had a affair with arushi. Her door was automatic lock which means only she can open or someone with a key can open, no other person can open it. There is literally no account of arushi being in relationship with Hemraj. Not even her close friends know about it. I think this case is much more complicated. What about her dad enter into her room as he has the key. Her mother were asleep but her father was not. He even drank whiskey there was influence of alcohol in him. What if Hemraj saw all these and he killed both? He even said can he erase the autopsy report that his daughter was raped? Why someone do that when someone's kid is literally murdered?

CBI has its credibility the evidence is botched up therefore the case is inconclusive. The last sentence in this interview - Talwars are not innocent because of lack of evidence they are left out.
I just don't understand: If the woman who did the Narco analysis, was removed afterwards, that means that if anything, she was telling the truth(albeit under some kind of pressure and didn't cave in) and her Narco report was indeed correct.

Obviously they did...all the agencies ruled out the possibility of an outsider being involved. It's gotta be the parents. They had a confrontation some day ago where Aarushi had confronted Rajesh about his association with Anita Durrani based on Hemraj's inputs. So, he was anyway upset with both of them as his secret was out. Then imagine spotting the two in an objectionable position. He probably killed her in a fit of rage or wanted to hit Hemraj but missed and the golfclub hit Aarushi. In eithercase she was gone, and having lost her, he did not want to spare Hemraj..because he was witness to the murder and probably also knew his secret. So he killed him. Then he got Nupur into confidence...and having lost her only daughter, she obviously did NOT want to lose her husband. No other course of events fits the description of witnesses and IOs so well. Also, you probably meant their "conscience" will kill them, not conscious, correct?

It's impossible to get evidence on father-daughter argument when daughter is dead and mother is with father. But the moot point is she was killed by Rajesh Talwar in a fit of rage.

Abe chu... how can CBI solve crime when the whole murder seen was allowed to be tampered by the UP police and evidence was removed by the family including washing the crime scene? Without any proper evidence nobody can be convicted. And, on top of that there were no other witnesses apart from the accused themselves. You can't "punish" CBI for not proving the unprovable. It can only be solved if Talwars are fully honest which they never are so we will never know for sure what happened in that closed apartment. But, all the circumstantial evidence does point out that they were involved but it can't be used in court of law.

Itseems that in a fit of anger the father must have killed her. The blood stains were very cleverly cleaned as though it was done by professionals. After all they were doctors. How can the servants do it with so much of confidence? This is so sad! Loss of an innocent soul! RIP..
Not just blood stains..they even cleaned her vaginal cavity suspecting that a forensic expert would otherwise be able to point out an ongoing foreplay/intercourse. I don't think the servants anywhere in the world would swab-clean someones vaginal cavity. It's gotta be medicos.
The lock on the terrace sealed it..because Hemraj's dead body was found on the terrace...while the door was locked from inside..which means the murderer was in the house till the maid entered at 06:01 am...and per Bharati (the maid) she only saw the Talwars there.
@Asif Sohel The good thing about 21st century is that regardless of the court's verdict, reasonably smart people in the know of a case will figure out what happened and who all may be involved. Sure, we and/or the counsels may not be able to prove it for lack of admissible evidence..but the people will know...and so would the culprit. That's how karma works, not through courts. Court's verdict is just a bonus, and many a times it comes at great cost.

They loved their daughter and there was no evidence of prior abuse. Had they killed their daughter, they'd have confessed it on day 1, given how shell-shocked they must have been.
Even their supposed evidence cleanup was shoddy. Why clean the privates of Arushi when you want to frame Hemraj as a rapist-murderer? An evidence of intercourse would work in parents' favor.
Also, which genius criminal would hide a body on the terrace and call the police? Of course, police will find it sooner or later. They'll search the entire house for evidence. They should have instead dumped the body somewhere. Talwars had a car. They could have done that and then said Hemraj is absconding.
No murder weapon was ever found with their prints. They came clean in narco test. They were innocent.

Arushi's case is still very confusing. In JonBenet's case majority of the people believe that it was someone from her family. There are some very great documentaries about this, There is a docuseries in which a bunch of ex-FBI profilers, doctors, etc concluded that her brother killed her and her parents faked the whole kidnapping and ransom note thing. It is one of the most very well researched documentaries I've ever seen.

This is the normal situation with most of the crimes in India , local police takes over and after being bribed or political pressure the crime scene is cleaned and botched up , also the corrupted doctors misleading the post-mortem report and finally when CBI takes over , although they know who the murders are they do not have enough evidence to present at the court of law . What country are we living in, we do not have basic value of human life & with all the murders happening around this has become normal for us !

It is weird that this man says there is zero chance of an outsider coming in. What is the basis for such a claim? When even the crime scene has been botched up.

1. No watchman has seen in or out entry...
2. If an outsider is involved why would an outsider lock the terrace door. Its said that in general no one weren't locking the terrace.
3. Also Aarushi was lying on bed without any evidence of forceful entry...so room was dressed up. Why would outsider dressup her bed.
4. This is my personal opinion...We all know the evil men psychology...why would anyone leave the girl without any molestation or rape and just kill her?? No evidences were found of molestation and rape.

@@Curious99111 The police behaves more responsibly in Kerala. There are so many examples for it. Simplest of the clues have helped in many cases. Unfortunately, there is a whole lot of difference between the way of working in Police departments of different states in India. Having seen many documented crime resolving cases in Kerala, there is more hope for cases like that of Arushi's to get justice. I had the exact same thought as Neethu. But I know it is practically impossible for Kerala Police to take up Arushi Talwar murder case.

There have been countless cases in the past where people were imprisoned for not able to prove they are not guilty! The court should have imprisoned the Talwars and put the onus on them to prove they are not guilty! This case can serve as a classic text book scenario for high brain murderers,so they will know if they plan it out really clean they can easily be Scot free!! Atleast the court should have thought from that angle to prevent somebody using the same pattern!!!😢

Within a few days he spotted them in an objectionable position (why else would they clean up her vaginal cavity?) , and killed her in a fit of rage. Very likely. In fact more likely than any other story.

Why victim's phone murder weapon terrace keys was missing who taken this obviously murderer so who was that ?Why blood stains of hemraj was found on krishna's pillow was he involved in this murder as servants were also suspects in this case ?.
If the servants had done it the police would have solved the case same day. There is enough motive for the police to take a hefty sum and botch up the evidence. Hemraj was a Nepali hence no one to fight for justice, Nepal government is not in a position to pressurise India. Who will ask justice for Aarushi? If parents are convicted then it's a shame knowing the cause. Very well calibrated case with only Hemraj's family the loser. But looking at family honour and Indian sabyata Hemraj got his punishment.

Usually, Hemraj opened the door, but that morning when the servant of house who came everyday early in the morning to clean the house, she rang the bell several times but the door was not opened. The servant walked to the window of the parents' room, she shouted and the mother heard her and threw the keys down. 1. Now, how many floors were in this building? 2. Which floor was this house? 3. How many other residents were there in the building? The terrace was always locked from inside, so the only access inside the building was through the main door. It's quite likely possible that the killer was hiding probably near the stairs waiting for the door to opened. Which was possible only from outside during this time. Ofcourse it could have opened from inside also, but killer wanted this doubt be raised . This doubt obviously targeted the parents for this one doubt. When the servant opened the door, she would have cared less of the surroundings because the murder was not discovered yet. The killer walked out carefree once the main door opened and the servant went upstairs.
Now, If the parents were murderers, Both the parents are doctors, they would obviously know how to cut flesh. The way the daughters throat was slit, it appeared as if the slit was a very painful in nature, it's quite possible that some hard or rough hands did that job. On the other hand, Doctors have smooth hands, if they had to slit the throat, it would have appeared "very neat". Now, there is no mention if there was any kind of resistance from the girl while being murder. The murder weapon was not discovered at the scene either. It definitely was not a surgical knife but a rugged shaped weapon.The talwars would not have had so much time to leave the building and hide it elsewhere. The talwars never came out that night.
The parents would not have taken a slightest of chance to have suspicion raised against them in the first place. Therefore, there is a possibility that someone who knows the building in and out very well has taken the liberty to wash away his identity. A Neighbor wheather a Owner or a servant living in that same buidling is the killer.

its very clear. rajesh and nupur wanted to dispose off hemraj body and make him the murderer. but media and friends and family spotlight didn't leave their house alone. before rajesh could take hemrajs body, police found the body. rajesh didn't give keys of terrace to police despite blood stains, cremated body in 1 day, and sent police on wild chase to nepal

Theory 1 : Hemraj had keys to let anyone into the house. They dont need to even break in. It was an entire new character that was in the house, not the other servants . it is this same unknown character who called Hemraj from a PCO. This killer met hemraj directly on the roof top. How he bypassed the security guards is through hopping through the other rooftops and landing on Talwar apartments. The question is why did Hemraj have to meet this person in the house in this manner ? he could have just done so in a public place outside the apartment afterall its night time and end of his work day . The talwars also cleared their lie detector test. so who did it ?

Stop thinking that every case is the same. SSR's case was suicide. AIIMS itself said that there was no foul play. Just because people can't accept that he committed suicide, it doesn't change the truth. He had been suffering from depression from long back and sadly he couldn't take it anymore. Rather than speculating, people should try to be more compassionate and look at mental health as something serious.
