Really awesome video! I love seeing, around 9:45, Chris communicates to the rest of the band to presumably transition into "Wayside"- amazing how they transitioned so smoothly and held together! Then again they are an experienced band. I love this.
Chris...Son Of Ben!! You are sooo smilingly damn good!! Of course you grew up surrounded by such inspirational people such as the Seldom Scene and all the players that gravitated to them...All the power to you Chris, you lucky dawg!! And so much thanks to your Dad for the love of his banjoistics that I still listen/enjoy, to this day!!!
you all prolly dont give a damn but does someone know of a trick to log back into an Instagram account?? I somehow lost the password. I would appreciate any tips you can offer me
@Curtis Preston I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and im in the hacking process now. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
Unbelievably good video! Punch Brothers play a lot of progressive stuff but this video of straight ahead bluegrass (preceded by the Irish ballad) just blows it away.
Also, they’ve played countless hours of bluegrass growing up, years and years, probably a bit over it, but thankfully not enough to not give these ya these gems!!
Its all mindblowing. Great music!
I don't know how many times I've watched this but I'll be back for more.
Probably because you havent seen the original. Luke kelly. All day. Theres meaning to this song. These gobshites have tarnished it.
Same.
Too much greatness all at once hard to comprehend
This is power levels 9000 and only a few ppl get it. And we're thankful.
Great harmony delivered beautifully and musically perfect
The punch bros cannot be beat I love them and Noam Pikelny can’t be beat I would love to see them in person !!!!
Don’t fall in love…..what a GREEEAAAAT singer!!! Holy cow!!
...well that was...nearly at a loss for words. That was grand!!

Dude, what a tenor!
Dylan Wagoner I wish they’d implement his tenor more!! It’s so clear and strong!

@Curtis Preston It did the trick and I finally got access to my account again. I'm so happy:D
Thank you so much, you really help me out!
@Andrew Randall Glad I could help :D
What a rendition of a great ballad!!
Punch Brothers, performing acoustically, in front of...an organ!? I'm in heaven.
Would have loved to hear that organ play.
Unbelievably good video! Punch Brothers play a lot of progressive stuff but this video of straight ahead bluegrass (preceded by the Irish ballad) just blows it away.
That fucking banjo is insane
Great performance. Hope to see some of this style next month at their November 2018 Barbican show in the UK.
I love everything they do. I wish they'd play more straight-ahead bluegrass.
Chet Duke they're great at it for sure but I'd miss their sound if they did just that.
Also, they’ve played countless hours of bluegrass growing up, years and years, probably a bit over it, but thankfully not enough to not give these ya these gems!!
Fantastic
I have a mandolin.
I'm going to cry now.
Love this
Cool! Pogues Mahone!
That was great. Thanks for posting.
It's funny how there's no microphone.
Holy cow!
My Brothers aren’t anything like this...
Great band, great sound too ! Where’s the mics ? Above them I’m guessing?
The mic is on the camera. In the end you can hear how close the audience is.
oh shit...
These vocals are so in-tune, the overtones are overwhelming the phone's mic. Shit.
damn..
Where and when was this concert? Great performance.
Shelley Heard from what I can find, it was in oberlin, ohio
Ah, Critter's alma mater. Thanks.

Chris is so damn hot 🔥
I'm totally a fan of them, but when it comes to "Auld Triangle" they don't even come close to the Dubliners and the great Luke Kelly.
Paul R I agree but a great attempt nonetheless
And the Dubliners musicianship doesn't even come close to Punch brothers.
alan4sure that’s irrelevant great technical ability isn’t why The Dubliners are appealing
And sounding like the Dubliners isn't why Punch Brothers are popular. It works both ways...
You're not wrong, but I think it's definitely the second best rendition. Beats Glen Hansard and Ed Sheeran etc for me, but to each their own :)
Far to pretentious. Sing it as it is. You've put a swing on parts that wasnt needed.
It's called interpretation. Why is it when someone covers something a bit differently then it's "pretentious". I hate that word.
