I've only been trading a month. And I had my biggest day thanks to you Ross. I can't tell you how thankful I am for you free knowledge on here. It really is enough for people with an aptitude for these sort of things. I got $246 on $VVPR today. It was in a simulator but I'm still proud of myself. There's no other UA-camr like you. Most of them are reading from a script.

Yea I started using the macd, 9ema ,20 ema and the 200ema about 2 months ago and they saved me so much money and even better they made me such a better trader . Just wish I was using these last year but you live and you learn.
I woke up before 6am mountain time. As I have not seen what happens with the sort of news VVPR had this morning, I held off to watch today and learn. It was about $5.5 and when I came back it was over $8. I am pretty sure I would have stayed to that point and tapped out before it took a turn down from $8.4. Would have missed the rest of the climb but hey, 200 shares with $2.5 climb would make my day lol

Thank you Ross, I haven't seen such huge rejection candles like I've been seeing lately. This explanation video is both timely and very reassuring. I am still only trading with small share size in my real account but my confidence as a trader has been getting stronger each day. Almost 80 percent conversion rate on my trades, thanks to you! I was in the simulator when I got absolutely destroyed in a VVPR false breakout. What a great lesson learned! I even warned the guys in the scanner chat room about a potential knife, and yet I still took the bate and loss $1900.00 in less than one second! You're truly the best teacher Ross! In line with this same teaching... I have noticed that 90-100% of the time when, out of nowhere in a runner, the biggest candle is red, it is a major BAD omen. This is true at least in the short-run. It is a major momentum breaker...

what are your ema settings are you using smart? or is your maid settings a specific setting. I have trouble getting my scanner to catch those moves early currently using Bending Pro
HI Ross! Very interesting, and great explanations. Just a question about settings : is the MACD a classic (12, 26, 9) or a (3, 10, 16)? Does it depend on Time Frame? And do you use often the 10s Time frame (to see lower price structure, or to trade) ? I guess that we could have seen the big resistance at 7.00 very clearly from long time with Bookmap, isn' it? Thanks anyway.
I also notice and I dont know how common this is but some of the recent biggest gainers are like 40% or more below their daily and weekly 200 sma.

Hey Ross, thanks for insights. Just want to ask if you use hard stops or mental ones? I've been trading since "82" sometimes sparingly and other times more aggressively. Listening to you has made me realize that at so many junctures I should have started making moves more on what was happening before my eyes on the charts than going with a hold and build a bigger position.
I took me awhile to realize this was from yesterday lmao, I was like uhh I don't see this consolidation premarket. Now I'm following ya.

It is brilliant. Too much tapping the resistance is also confirmed by SMB capital traders. Another thing, puzzled me was that - 'how small-volume - large candle' (which is anomaly) is formed. I think you've explained it brilliantly, just when whales remove their orders from the order book.
Ross, how can one recognize a short sale near the H.O.D. by watching the time/sales?
MACD was even giving us a signal to exit the trade before the extreem downturn.
I noticed you track volume and MACD, do you really look at RSI much or not really?
My account just went from a small account to a large account now in 2024 my best year in the past 3 this has been sweet I will be going back to a small account challenge in May back down to around 500 to rebuild it again
To avoid the false breakout, Wouldnt you want to see a conformation candle close above the resistance before you buy in...thats what i was taught

But right before the early move (8:47 in the video) there was a block as well, how would i know later on when there's a resistance block breach its not a new early move but a false break out? i tend to get out as soon as i hit the resistance and keep missing the big moves that way.

20:20 It looks to me like the MACD was positive till it flushed down. So can you really trust it as an indicator for a trade?
Putting in a guesstimate at 3:25 before I watch you reveal why it dropped.....MACD was closed, volume was decreasing, price broke down through the 9 EMA....

it is almost like you made this entire video just for me ross😅😂 ...i didnt had a single trade in the morning and i saw all those rejection candles 7 was hard to break i told my self when this level breaks it will go high fast but got cought in a rejection i was lucky to be able to get out with not too big of a lost but that sure was a dum trade lol
Watched VVPR in premarket and the open and it looked tricky the whole time . Lots of topping tails . Weak breakouts .
