It is so heartwarming to see Blanco running to the kids first. I follow him on Inst and I see how affectionate he is towards the fans. It seems like he really enjoys his craft and his priorities are music and people who listen to his music, not numbers and fame. Therefore it was obvious to me that he would skip the first run-through rehersal to keep his concert. It is not that he doesn't care about ESC, but he is willing to sucrifice 1 rehersal for the fans who've been waiting for that concert and supported him from the beggining. I'm a big Eurovision fan, but I admire that in an artist.
And people who were pissed about it, should reavalute what they value in artists and especially ESC artists.
I went to Mahmood's concert a few days ago, and I would have been absolutely heartbroken if he canceled, especially since the concert wasn't in my country and I would probably not be able to go for the rescheduled show months later.
Finally someone who understood it and who says it, really thank you very much

Some Eurovision fans will gladly toss an act they've been falling all over for during the pre-season if one rehearsal is less than Pavarotti levels. In the end, Mahmood and Blanco are good, unbothered guys who are just doing their thing. Just seeing Mahmood immediately run over and give William a hug is so sweet. I'm not ruling Italy out of contention. Also, Mahmood's English has improved so much since 2019!

For me the most important thing is the song, the emotions, the words, the song must have something that touches the heart! Definitely and only has a song from Italy! Bravo guys, you are the best, the only and unique. You don't need a show, almost naked bodies of dancers to make an impression. Brividi is wonderfully clever, and Blanco and Mahmood are sensational lyricists.
The song has power and it is this power that should win Eurovision. I love you Italy ❤️❤️❤️

thank you very much, also because they come from tiring tours and therefore need to rest and do more rehearsals, then those were just "rehearsals", everyone in Sanremo we saw what they are capable of doing live, love from Italy ❤

I thought Blanco was so f***ing unfriendly because his attitude hasn't been so welcoming, but I think he feels kinda ashamed for doesn't communicate properly in english
Yeah, once he said he kinda regrets not studying english properly in the past, because now he understands how much it is important.
Well I understand because if you're not comfortable in a language you kinda feel awkward. And above that he's still a bit tired. In fact he is happy and honored to be there, they said

Do you speak Italian? I know it's not "the universal language", but do you speak Spanish or French as well? It's not their native language and not every single European person has to know to speak English. Even in 2022. For some people, it's an easy language to learn, for some others, it can be really hard. Please, respect that.
