I believe that the twin stick is used alot for rock crawling and mudding. I have not seen any good videos explaining it but there could be times when you just need the front or back wheels turning for control and traction purposes. Great video series.
You did a great job showing all of the steps to rebuild your Dana 20. This will be a great resource for those wanting to do the same. Can you explain your choice in wanting to "Twin Stick" your transfer case. I have just rebuilt my Dana 300 and when I saw that as an option, I could not for the life of me figure out why someone would need this functionality. Cheers... Mike
Thanks Mike, that means a lot to me coming from you. I have gotten a ton of inspiration and confidence watching your videos and look forward to the next. Honestly, i’m with you on why in the world i would ever need to use the twin sticks. This jeep will probably never see a dirt road. But i love learning and it was a ton of fun to figure out how to make it work, even if i never use it. Happy Thanksgiving and God bless
Thanks for this video! I'm about to rebuild my dana 20, helps alot. BC Canada.
@@SA-fl7sd Thanks for watching! I hope the video helps.

31:37 a piece of that red string fell into the case when you cut it.
Thats not good, i think i see where you are talking about. I’ll have to drain the case and see if i can get it out. Thanks for the headsup.
