Thanks for the video. I want to purchase the twin stick shifter, but I'm told I need to remove the internal shift interlock pills. Did you remove yours?

Hi, I never converted this transfer case. It was a twin stick when I started, so I'm not too sure about the conversion process. There are two interlock pins "pills". My best effort to animate the assembly is at the end of the video. Hope that helps, theres a special order to remove them in.

I'm trying to get that shift shaft thing off the front of my dana 20 right now without tearing the transfer case apart. and It doesn't look like I can.

Hello, at the end of the video, there's a 3d animation of the internal mechanism to the shifter assembly. You have to do a full tear down to remove the shifter control rods. the rods are attached to slide gears by a set screw, and you really need to take the whole thing apart to get to them.
