Yes, it is a GoPro 8. Standard microphone settings. I would suggest trying another AUX cable.

Excellent series of videos..👌. I’m intrigued as to your choice of front & rear tyres, why the mixed setup?

I needed to change the rear tire in order to last the whole summer trip to the Alps and Dolomites. The Front tire had more than enough of rubber left, so I chose to only swap the rear.
At this moment of writing I'm ordering a new Road 6 front tire, since the tire has done 17.000 kilometers(!!) and is less than 1mm away from it's lawful minimum.
I think it's unbelievable that this (original) front tire lasted so long with my style of riding.
Overall this situation is just a coincidence because the tire wear front and back is different, but soon I'll be riding with full Michelin Road 6. I hope this explains it! ;)
