This is great! I love doing amateur bartending when I host small parties at home, however I have a couple friends that do not drink alcohol. So I’m always looking for non-alcoholic cocktail ideas to serve them. Thank you!
My girlfriend and me just had a baby 2 weeks ago - we have tried out loads of alcohol free drinks in that time, but since she obviously still can't have booze, we're excited to try these!
Congrats on the new arrival. I'm always making crafted mocktails so that my son can enjoy something cool when he's sitting with the grown ups that are drinking
Finally, I was looking forward to this. Great video. Not only are these some nice cocktails, you also gave me some ideas and inspiration to experiment with. Thank you very much.
One of my favourite iced teas uses a little orange blossom combined with Earl Grey and sugar syrup. Would definitely recommend that to complement this one.
That sounds awesome! Just got some orange blossom water for my video where I make orgeat and this is a great opportunity to get more out of the bottle! 👍
Unrelated to this video unfortunately, but I couldn’t find anywhere else to write you. Could you do a video about making two cocktails at once, spirit based mixing and shaken cocktails too? Just as simple as doubling the ingredients or is there other considerations. Particular drinks where this is really good for and others where it can’t be done. Everyone makes a drink for themselves and a friend!
Funny you should ask for this. In two weeks we have an episode coming out that tackles how to make a round of drinks - not quite what you’ve outlined but hopefully lots of good tips in there that will apply.
My wife is 16 weeks pregnant and is missing her normal Tom Collins. I think that berry syrup might hit the right notes for her since she is such a gin fan. Thanks so much for making this video!
Good luck to you 2 and the baby, tell your wife to hang in there, the next video after the baby is born, we can all have a drink together and toast to the newborn,, cheers to you both!!! Oops, all 3 of you!!!
I can tell you my 7 year old loves when I do these things for him, plus just the addition of the right spirit can make it an adult beverage without giving you a ton of extra work👍
Great video Ms Cara! Sometimes I forget about the non alcohol drinkers, need to adjust my home bar for them, they can be apart of it too, so cool, thanks again Ms Cara, you are still awesome!!!
In the Netherlands we also do Dry J - with us it's January though, not July. It's also Dry January, the idea being that you quit drinking after the holidays, a time durint which you drank so much. Both in winter though, I suppose 😝 Thanks for some great recipes, even though Dry January is over, I still like a fancy drink without alcohol from time to time 😇
That ice tea drink looks a nice idea - will try and steep some sugar syrup when next I've got a chance. Also pineapple shrub sounds good (although would need to skip grapefruit juice due to meds interactions, alas. Maybe blood orange or lime?)
I usually do about 1 tsp of loose tea per 100ml or a couple of teabags 😊. Just taste it as it infuses though until it reaches your desired intensity and you can’t really go wrong! You can always strain out and use fresh tea if it starts to get too bitter.

I love this! I really like that these drinks are complex enough to feel like cocktails.

Glad I could help out 😊
Great sips for the summer Cara! Always good to keep some good mocktails in the back pocket!
Love it!

@@Barprints Hope you enjoy it. Orange Blossom also works surprisingly well in salad dressing.

I made that pineapple shrub without the spices and topped it up with ginger beer. Pretty tasty
Definitely give her pineapple shrub recipe a try. Love ginger beer so this will be awesome👍

Also right on time for me! The seventh birthday of my flatmates daughter is coming up and I was planning to mix up something for her party!
yum, hope she (and you!) enjoy!

What perfect timing!
Summer just got a lot more enjoyable 👍
Nice and simple drinks, will have to try "Summer Berry Spritz".
Delicious ideas!!
My wife has been sober for almost 2 years, so I made the pineapple punch for a BBQ we were hosting. Delicious
Also when I made the shrub, I threw the strained off pineapple/ginger/allspice mix on top of a ham! 👌
In the northern hemisphere some people do a Dry January, so a Dry July makes sense DownUnder.
I actually just got a message from a friend in Vegas doing Dry July. A break every now and then for any reason is never a bad thing
Great video Ms Cara! Sometimes I forget about the non alcohol drinkers, need to adjust my home bar for them, they can be apart of it too, so cool, thanks again Ms Cara, you are still awesome!!!
Great timing! I’m suffering a small gout attack so booze is off the menu temporarily.

I have an unopened bottle of London dry gin that has just been waiting for some perfect mixers. Thanks! 😀
yum you enjoy!

definitely, all citrus works well!
Thank you:) how strong is the tea please? I didn't know Earl Grey has such a pineapple color

I was thinking about trying a strawberry shrub with balsamic vinegar for some some sort of cocktail. Would that work the same way as pineapple?
absolutely, berries are a good candidate for that method!
In the United States its the 4th of july… today is not a dry day
Amaiziingg¡ can you make some Tiki cocktailss? Pleasee¡
Definitely, check out the Mai Tai and the Mr Bai Hai if you haven’t already but there’s always room for more!
@@BehindtheBar the more the better¡
