For craft making, we use $$ store coffee filters underneath when working with glitter for easy cleanup & it keeps the glitter off everything. 😊

This is the best nail glitter application video on UA-cam! I've been looking around and everyone just encapsulate them in gel. Which is fine. But, I want to apply my loose glitters to regular nail polish and this showed me how! 👏🏽💜💅🏽💜

If you put a piece of paper under the glitter/lid, you can capture whatever glitter that doesn’t fall into the cap.

Excellent video 👍 do you follow the glitter with a layer of top coat at the end ... or does the glitter stay on without a final top coat?
Depends on what you want the finish to be like. Personally I don't mind the gritty texture without an extra layer of topcoat, but for a smooth result you can definitely add 1 to 2 layers of topcoat 😊

I have this goal that I am very passionate about! And that is to become a nail tech and I'm sticking to it!! 🥰 I just ordered a whole bunch of nails, tools, glitters, foils, rhinestones, storage boxes and so MUCH MORE!! I've been getting my nails done for over 2 years and the amount of money I spend every few weeks on them is nuts. SO I'm going to start practicing (practice makes perfect 😉) and once I get good I will take it to the next level (clients) and go to school to get my license! Thank you for this video. I like the nail polish and top coat mix because I would probably not be able to do that loose way thank you so much I’ve been dying to use my glitter on my nails but had no idea where to start.

You should definitely try the other method though ... I was intimidated by pouring the glitter too ... but when I tried it, it was actually really easy. Just make sure you do it over a sheet of paper so it’s easy to pour the fallout back into the jar 😊

Oeh pretty! Do you always wear "heavy" nail arts? Or do you like babyboom nail art or a french manicure to? I like to see that because that soft pink polisch look so pretty!!
Personally I prefer the more heavy nails (i just love to dazzle up my nails to the max :D), but I have done a babyboom nailart a little while ago. I did add a couple of rhinestones to it but the first couple of steps are perfect for a standard babyboom design :)

How would you do just a little bit of glitter?
You have pretty hands!
I'd just sprinkle on a smaller amount, or apply less base etc. to the nail, like only to a specific part of the nail

Since this is an older video I don't have a working link to the foil glue anymore, but there are tons out there on aliexpress or via born pretty store :)
I usually just add a regular topcoat on the glitter nail art, but not on a sugar nail (when you sprinkle on the glitter and keep the rough surface effect).

how long does the glitter last or when hands washed does it fall off right away?
When the nailpolish is completely dry it will not just come off easily :) It always lasts at least a full week on my nails or even longer!
You really explained well, one thing i wanna ask we don’t have to apply top coat in the end? After applying those glitters
It depends on the glitter tbh 🤭 sometimes with very fine glitter the topcoat can make it look muddy and messy, for bigger glitter I usually do apply topcoat afterwards. It also really depends on what you want the end result to look like and whether or not you use regular polish like I did here, or gelpolish 😊

Hey! Where would you recommend to purchase acrylic monumer/powder, accessories?
Im a beginner so i want to make sure I have everything needed. I did purchase an acrylic kit off amazon. Just unsure what to use with glitter, jewels, etc.
I personally don't use acrylics so I wouldn't know where to get the best items ;)
Question, can you still incap the glitters with a layer of acrylic? I’m looking for a more smooth finish and I was wondering if I could do the same steps as this but finish with a layer of acrylic and a top coat? Just wondering 🤔
I am not sure if this method with regular polish will work well with acrylics on top, never used acrylics before myself so I'd suggest to just try it out and see what happens :D

No it's regular nail polish :) The base colour was already fully dry when adding the glitter mix
