  • www.johnchow.com The Tesla mod shops wanted over $1000 to "de-chrome" the Model X with vinyl wrap. We DIY it with $20 of Plasti Dip. Came out great! Watch the video to see how we did it.

    Looks good. Only issues I see as a possibility is the door handles since they’re constantly being touched and the mirror since it folds constantly.

    You did a great job. I've seen some come out bumpy because they did too many thin coats. You did nice thick coats and it came out very smooth.

    I love the color of the wheels. How did you do the wheels? Did you have them professionally painted or did you do plasty dip or something like that?

    I’m trying to figure out how you didn’t get it on the paint. In the areas that didn’t seem covered by painters tape.

      Not bad at all. The door handles are showing some wear because you're always pushing it to open the doors, but the parts that are not touched by hands look as good as the day they were put on!

    Nice video how much did it cost with masking tape and did the door handle hold up since it’s constant touched

    You spray painted a $80K+ tesla? Have you gone mad?

    • @cliffm5559
      @cliffm5559 4 роки тому +2

      so because you paid $80k, you over pay a shop to do something you can do yourself? Also, its not spray paint (permanent), it's plastidip, which can be removed.
